13 Alternative Lehenga Makers To Experiment With When You're Bored With Sabyasachi-Copies!

BY The WMG Bride | 10 Sep, 2016 | 34309 views | 5 min read

So, here’s a confession. Yes, we secretly salivate over any Manish Malhotra or Sabyasachi spotting. And yes, we do roll our eyes the very next moment. Every now and then, we’d love us an eccentric, out-of-the-blue sighting of the “others”. Won’t you too? With the ever-evolving bridal fashion, there is a slew of talented designers in the market today that leave us astounded with their work, making us crave for more. That said, if you’re up for some experimentation, here’s our list of designers that you must consider before you make a purchase:

1. Raw Mango

Outstanding? You bet. Vibrant? Check. Regal? Hell yeah. Raw Mango excels at what other designers often steer clear of – lehengas in louder-than-loud colours! Parrot green, electric blue or rani pink, Raw Mango’s lehengas ensure that you’re where all eyes are at (well, of course you are; you’re the bride! But, you get what we mean!).

Taking the conventional florals up a level is Ridhi Mehra, whose designs feature a breath-taking blend of modern and the traditional. Whether it’s an engagement, sangeet, or mehendi, Ridhi’s suave, lightweight designs ensure that you have the maximum fun at any event.

WMG loves: As much as the colour delights us, we can’t get over the gorgeous “window” embroidery on the border of this lehenga. What royalty, huh!

4. SVA by Sonam and Paras Modi

SVA
SVA's lehengas are as easy to dress up as they are to dress down. Whether it’s floor-length anarkalis or traditional lehenga-choli, SVA’s creations are laden with beautiful brocades scattered over modern, state-of-the-art outfit patterns.
