A Punjabi boy, and a Tamilian girl, and a union that was a perfect blend of both their cultures and traditions - Shruti and Sagar's wedding was truly #goals. Shruti wore beautiful outfits throughout her functions, but it was her kanjeevaram that stole our hearts. She chose dark hues and it shined on her. She paired it up with stunning jewellery, and wore kaleere with it to honor her beau's traditions as well! Well, what can we say, it made our hearts flutter. My Name is Shruti Kumar. My husband Sagar and I have dated for 8 years, of which 7 years were in a long-distance relationship from two different countries before we moved in together in Boston the past year. It’s amazing when you date someone from your teenage and end up getting married as best friends.
He is a Punjabi and I’m Tamilian. He proposed to me on a getaway trip to Bali, Indonesia 3 years ago on top of a volcanic mountain (Mt. Batur). We recently got married and decided to embrace both our cultures with all the functions together in order to help our families get well integrated!
