It's all about the details in this gorgeous Delhi wedding. While we were impressed with the stunning decor of each of the functions, it was the bridal outfits that were remarkable! Our bride, the fashion designer, looked absolutely radiant in her coralAnita Dongre lehenga. However, it was the contrasting mint green dupatta that she chose to wear with it that gave the outfit just the perfect pop! And the fact that the groom's safa matched her mint dupatta was just adorable! Andaz, Aerocity, was a beautiful place for this gorgeous day wedding, while Gautam Khullar Photography photography, candid and otherwise, was as pretty as it gets!
Meet Nikita & Raghav
Nikita recounts their love story, "First of, we make a very unusual pair. He, an eye surgeon and I, a fashion designer. Imagine! What could we have in common. Turns out, a lot. I had gone for dance practice to my friend’s place for his Sangeet. And out came this guy, in a pink pyjama and a worn out T shirt. He turns out to be my friend’s brother! At first look, I didn’t think much of him, judging by his clothes especially ?. He looked far from a doctor. But when he got to talking, I was pleasantly surprised. So charismatic! We got to chatting and before we know it, we were in love ?. "

I always had a day wedding in mind. Always. It took a bit of convincing on his side but it all worked out eventually. The second uphill task was his outfits. I knew exactly what I wanted for him, unlike him. That took a lot more convincing. That too, ultimately worked out just the way we wanted it . Shyamal & Bhumika’s Ivory sherwani with a beautifully hand crafted stole was really subtle and made him look suave. With my beautiful coral Anita Dongre Lehenga, accent of sage green and jewellery by Shri Hari Diagems, I was sorted. And was already in love with my look. The decor by Abhinav bhagat was so beautifully done, we knew exactly what we wanted and he delivered it beautifully on all days. People say that you’re too dazed out on your wedding day. It was the complete opposite for us. I was ready with my jewellery and my outfit at 9 am on my wedding morning, much before my family members. And the best part was, especially since it was totally unexpected, that Raghav was super pumped throughout the entire wedding, sometimes more than me. Oh what a mind-blowing entry he made on the wedding day!! I could relive my wedding day again. And again. And again. And once again!
Abhinav Bhagat - Abhinav did our decor for all the functions, he has a great eye for detail and design. We were surprised on all days, his designs are fresh and beautiful. Love his design aesthetic. He was great, just what we needed for our perfect fairytale wedding. Thanks Abhinav. Gayatri Sharma - I got my Mehendi & Reception make up done from Gayatri, she made me look subtle and dreamy. Everyone complimented me for how I looked on both the days. It was minimal yet glamorous. My overall experience with Gayatri was really nice, I highly recommend her. She’s a sweetheart. Paveena Rathour - From the day I met Paveena, she had been very sweet and understanding about the contemporary yet subtle look I wanted for my cocktail and the traditional look for my wedding. She did my cocktail and wedding make up beautifully. She surprised me on both the days with her hard work and dedication. Her skill and her lovely personality makes her the perfect make up artist for every bride. Florenzaa - I got my lovely floral jewellery from florenzaa. It was really pretty and matched perfectly with my Mehendi outfit. Good work florenzaa! Gautam Khullar photography - Photography is the most important part of a wedding. We met a couple of photographers before finalising Gautam and his team. He’s very enthusiastic, energetic and is open to new ideas. Portraits and candid shots clicked by him were excellent. We are now excited and are eagerly waiting for our final edited photos n videos.
