From the customised Haldi blouse with the wedding hashtag #ShreyGotSaum embroidered on it, to the beautifully unique Anamika Khanna bridal lehenga our bride wore for her wedding, this wedding gave us so many new ideas! Saumya tells us how they met, "We met in college and started out as friends..By the end of the college we were the best of friends. After college got over, I had to go back to Jaipur and the distance made us realise how much we mean to each other! He is my best friend and I couldn't think of spending my life with anyone but him (We prefer to call each other besties over mr and mrs)..Ours was a Mumbai - Jaipur long distance love story!"

As a small girl, I had always dreamt about my big day. As a couple we both were extremely involved in our wedding. Every small detail was taken care of. From save the dates to invites to menu to decor, we were a part of all! I was clear in my mind that I want my hometown Jaipur to be our wedding destination as we dreamt of our wedding to be royal and dreamy! And that's what JAIPUR is all about! Our wedding was a three day long affair! We started out with a sajan goth function which is a traditional Rajasthani lunch followed by an unplugged musical night. On day 2 we had our Haldi function which was the most unique Haldi function. We were made to sit on two massive specially customised Indian Uruli. Uruli is a traditional cooking pot but we used it in the most fun way! Next up was our MUMBAI v/s JAIPUR carnival! This was a big hit! From decor to food to the entire event , everything had a Mumbaikar and Jaipurite touch to it! After the carnival was our favourite function , THE SANGEET NIGHT. We Had an absolute blast and so did all our guests. Our Sangeet was designed by KARTHIK MOHAN PRODUCTIONS and they did a fabulous job! The third day was our big day! We had our pheras in the morning and had a grand reception in the evening! I feel so lucky because I really did have the wedding of my dreams and I cant thank my family, friends and our absolutely awesome wedding vendors enough for making it happen!

We had a very big guest list and hence we had three venues for our wedding functions! JAI BAGH PALACE , VIJAYRAN PALACE , INDANA PALACE - KUKAS , JAIPUR! All the venues had a royal and palatial touch and hence we knew we had to choose these three.
Ahhhh! The first thing I did was to shortlist my makeup vendors and thanks to WMG because I had the best makeup artist and hairstylist who made sure that I look like a queen and nothing less! My makeup was taken care by DOLL YOU UP BY SHRADDHA . To begin with she is such a humble makeup artist. Right from the start she was involved in my looks. From helping me decide all my makeup looks to giving me abudance of tips and reminders on everday skin care. She takes her brides very seriously AND THATS SOMETHING THAT MADE ME FEEL SO SPECIAL. My hair was done by RITIKA KADAM. I guess Ritika needs no introduction. She is so good at what she does and I consider myself lucky that I had Ritika by my side on my Big day! As a team Ritika and Shradha both gave me four different looks for my four functions! It was a joy ride getting ready with them.
We decided on CAPTURING EMOTIONS PRODUCTION by Mayur Tekchandani. Mayur and his team are simply fantastic! They made us look like a dream in all our pictures and covered every bit of emotion and feelings that we were going through.
Decor was the most integral and special part of our wedding! We never wanted anything that is typical and wanted something that would talk about our story , our style and something that makes our guest relate to what we both are as a couple and that is FUN & HAPPY! We had SHOWMAKERSINDIA and RR events from Jaipur. They did it all for us! Our entire decor and event planning was taken care by them. They are absolutely amazing! They literally became a part of our family and paid attention to every minute detail! We couldn't have asked for a better planner! Our decor was simply out of a Pinterest board! They did some absolutely unique decor work for our wedding! One of our functions was a MUMBAI v/s JAIPUR carnival and the decor was extraordinarily creative! Our guests were going crazy over the decor!
