You already know how we absolutely love brides who dare to break away from the monotony and experiment with colors and styles, and this one sure tops the list! The bride wore a stunning bronze gold lehenga (one that we just cannot stop obsessing over), along with bold, maroon flowers in her hair- a delicious contrast to the gold! Amaanta Farms made for the perfect venue for their big celebration!
Meet Priyanka & Arjun
When asked about their first meeting, Priyanka shared, "we met at my sister’s house party 6 years back. That’s where we hit it off and have been dating since almost 5.5 years. I said no the first time he asked me out but being the salesman that he is, he sold himself to me. So in hindsight it was the best sale he ever made."

"Our wedding was all about having the best time ever. There was no guys' or girls' side, we enjoyed together like 1 big family. Arjun and I are extremely picky so everything at our wedding was handpicked by us, from the food to the decor to the photographer. We made sure that the way we are, resonates in every element of our wedding. From our save-the-date to our bridesmaid giveaway to the menu at our events and the wedding card- each and every detail of the wedding was managed by us. It was the best day of our lives and we intended on making it the best for whoever was attending it as well.
For Arjun and me, good food is of the utmost priority. The reason we chose Hyatt and Amit Dua for our wedding was because they put their heart and soul into making the food the highlight of the party. We still get calls for the menu we did on our functions. My MUA, Simran Takkar is a lifesaver! I had a very bad experience with a makeup artist who cancelled my booking at the last moment even after paying her a hefty advance (which I received after 3 weeks of constant chasing). So, I called Simran and she was there from the beginning to the end of the event, making sure all my looks were perfect. She understands what you want and need and adapts accordingly. She makes you look naturally gorgeous. Absolutely love the person and her work. Arjun wore Manish Malhotra for the Engagement/Cocktail and I have never seen Arjun this excited for an outfit ever. The men’s designer Tuhin at the store sat with Arjun for hours making a custom outfit that catered to all his needs making him look absolutely amazing at his function. All eyes were on the groom that night. As for me, sometimes you picture yourself a certain way on your big day and I was a lucky bride to have found exactly what I wanted at Sabyasachi. I never wanted to wear red on my big day and they had just the right color that I wanted. My lehenga was a bronze gold Chitrangada. My family and friends till now compliment me for not choosing a traditional red and going for what I wanted.
Just like our relationship we thought let’s give Ombre by HJ a chance and it turned out to the best decision we’ve ever made. Harsheen and team did an outstanding job at all our functions. 4 of my friends have already booked them for their own weddings after seeing our pictures. It’s all about capturing the right moment and they’ve shot us looking our best and funniest. I couldn’t have found a better vendor than Swarna by Bindiya for my card. My mom designed the most gorgeous looking box and in it were jars of saffron Kahwah which we got specially from Kashmir and dried berries and seeds as an accompaniment. The card was so breathtaking that relatives fought over the box (honestly)!," shares Priyanka.
