A Pinkish Wedding With Floral Mandap & A Charming Bride

BY Aakanksha | 05 May, 2020 | 37379 views | 6 min read

A super cute wedding celebration with the bride and groom having the time of their lives, Juhi & Alok were truly #couplegoals. Juhi looked adorable in a pink lehenga, that went perfectly with the bright pink floral decor of the wedding. Even her other outfits were stunning and she looked flawless at each function. Art Wedding captured the candid and adorable details of the wedding and we loved the pictures!

The Wedding

From The Bride:

Whoever said the couple doesn't have fun at their own wedding was absolutely wrong! We had a 6 day long affair because we wanted to enjoy every function thoroughly and not be in a hurry. And boy did we have a blast! I have never been more happy than during those 6 best days of my life! I was barely eating out of excitement and had sleepless nights yet I never felt tired throughout the week. I was PUMPED would be an understatement! After all I was marrying the love of my life after 12 years of togetherness. It started with a cocktail party, Day 2 was haldi and antakshari night, followed by a 2-day event of Mehendi, Pooja, Sangeet and Unplugged night and then the wedding and reception! I wanted all my looks to be different from each other and I'm glad I selected the designers and makeup artists who delivered 100% For the wedding I considered wearing pinks/pastels but I felt like I had seen too many of those and just fell in love with the traditional reds. I paired it with a peach and gold dupatta in the front. My husband wore a white sherwani paired with a peach dupatta which perfectly complimented my lehenga. I went for a bold purple for the reception and my husband wore a black tuxedo with a purple pocket square. Overall because our outfits were bold colors we wanted the decor to be in pastels so they both complimented each other. I would suggest every bride to definitely consider what is trending but also to have their own style and opinion and if you like something traditional then you should just go for it as in the end you will be happiest in that and it will really show on your face.

Bridal Outfits:

I was elated with how all my outfits turned out! I had a very specific design in mind for the cocktail outfit and Eshe at Ozeqo made sure to give me exactly that! She is a thriving designer who was super sweet and always made sure I was a 100% happy with the progress! Highly recommended if you want something unique and stylish! I was wearing a dusky baby pink outfit for the Sangeet from Lasha Designs. It looked beautiful with the crystal and floral work. Even though I had seen a lot of pastels, this was an outfit that really stood out for me. For the wedding I had loved so many lehengas from Roopkala that I had to go there 4 times just to finalise my designs! They have an amazing range and you can get gorgeous lehengas from 50k going upto 3-3.5 lakhs. Even though my lehenga was a traditional red, the pink and peach floral work on it and the peach dupatta in the front really tied everything together and it just felt perfect! Their work is very intricate and clean which really shows on the final piece. Nadine Dhody has a very western collection which is what I loved most. Their gowns and lehengas both have that perfect reception vibe. And as soon as I laid my eyes on that purple lehenga, I was in love. They customized the lehenga according to my preferences and the end result was breathtaking! Highly recommended.

Vendor Reviews:

Venue: Wedding - The Resort, Madh Island
We definitely wanted an outdoor wedding and The Resort was always my first option because it has a nice lawn and the weather is always nice since it's right by the beach! Would definitely recommend the venue if you want a beautiful wedding surrounded by greenery or the sea!

Venue: Reception - ITC Grand Maratha
Since our wedding was outdoors we thought it would be apt to hold the Reception in a ballroom and ITC has a gorgeous ballroom. The food is great too and overall both events had a different feel which is what we were going for.

Makeup Artist: Wedding & Reception - Mehak Dawar
I chose Mehak for my wedding and reception looks and boy did she deliver! I don't think I've looked more beautiful in my entire life. I trusted her blindly and to be honest I dint even get ready in front of a mirror so I dint know how I looked until I was fully ready and got a chance to look at myself. I don't have enough words to describe how I felt. And the number of compliments I got! Can't wait to work with her again!

Makeup Artist & Hairstylist: Cocktail - Priya Vaya & Sadhana Choudhari
They did an amazing job and gave me the exact look I was hoping for! They were too sweet to work with and very professional. I am looking forward to working with them in the future!

Makeup Artist & Hairstylist: Mehendi, Pooja and Sangeet - Shivangi Talati & Nehal Gohel
They did a great job and made sure all 3 looks were different from each other! All my MUAs understood that I wanted a very light base and worked accordingly.

Photographer: Wedding Art
I don't have enough words to describe how happy we are with their work. They were always taking an extra step to make sure we have the most beautiful memories of the best time of our lives! They also always work with a smile on their face and you can see they are not just there to photograph but to actually capture the emotions going on at the time. In the end the photos are what stay with you for life so I would definitely recommend considering them as your wedding photographers because they will put in their 100% at all times!

Decor: Reception - National Decorators
They were very conscious of our budget and gave us the most gorgeous decor we could have.

Mehendi Artist: Nasreen
I wanted my mehendi to be customized rather than traditional designs only and she did a wonderful job in recreating my ideas! I am also someone who cannot sit for hours for mehendi so I requested her to be considerate about that and she made sure to finish in a timely and neat manner!
