We've seen brides who DIYed their lehengas, brides who shopped for Jimmy Choos while waiting for their baraat and brides who entered dancing, but this is the first time we've come across a bride who did full splits in her wedding lehenga! Ria went viral all over Instagram for being able to do pushups and splits in her bridal lehenga and that is one testament to her great fitness. However, what caught our attention was how her bridal outfit was the perfect blend of fashion and comfort! It was gorgeous, with detailed floral embroidery but it was also comfortable enough for Ria to showcase her body fitness conveniently! What we also loved was the cozy intimate at-home mehendi where Ria wore another stylish yet homey outfit that oozed comfort! We met 4 years ago at a friends party and again a year later but just made small talk. Later when our parents asked us to meet, he knew me as the girl who did aerial and I knew him as the funny guy at the party. And that’s where it begun!

The roka was in 2020 Feb so pre covid and I was dreading a big fat wedding! However, wedding was supposed to be in Mumbai but just 2 weeks before the covid cases in Mumbai increased so we decided to do it in Lonavala so we planned our entire wedding in 15 days including outfits! It was intimate and that’s what made it so much fun.

Absolutely loved the outdoor beachside venue that was Estella. Everything from the cocktails and food to the service was impeccable. Our venue for the wedding was Della, Lonavala. It was beautiful with hills right behind the mandap and the food was pretty good. They were short on staff so slightly mismanaged but overall it was a good experience.

My original make up artist cancelled that morning due to an emergency and I went back to sleep thinking I’ll do my make up myself and she landed up at 9am and got my hair and make up done by 11am and did a very clean job. It was perfect for the day event. Disha, who did my mehendi makeup, has worked on me at my arangetaram before and she is one versatile make up artist who can change your opinion about herself. I wouldn’t have images myself pulling off eye shadow if it wasn’t for her! Lekha was my makeup artist and I couldn’t have asked for anything more! I love that I looked like myself and made sure the make up stayed intact even for the after party. She put up with me through all the date and venue changes and made my day.

We got quite a few candid photographs and Indrani & her team weren’t like helicopters in our faces so I very much appreciated that. We are pretty happy with our pictures from Recall, looking forward to seeing how the wedding video turns out.

They stuck to out budget and put together simple and elegant decor for the event. Ashish and Brijesh from Verve Events did a fabulous job for our wedding. It was all very last minute and had every tiny detail that we wanted. They are 2 young guys who can really capture the essence of what you would want. I highly recommend them for decor!

Quick order and delivery with excellent fitting and customisation from Diya Raj Veer. They even made a detachable cancan which should be on every brides list! Prerana Nagpal made my mehendi outfit in less than 15 days and I have never worn any outfit more comfortable than this one! She understands her client and gave me something I’d love to wear even after the function. I got my wedding outfit from Avantika Parwani in a sale but she endlessly worked on the fittings until I was satisfied. I ended buying 7 more outfits from her including my mom and mother in laws. For my Cocktail Neetu Rohira put together exactly what I wanted within a week of my order and her team got all the fittings in working over time. All my outfit designers worked so well given they had 15 days.
Mehendi Artist: Anupama
My mehendi artist was super passionate about getting me to look like a bride even though I dislike mehendi. She put up with my tantrums and kept convincing me that it’s ok and even sketched out a little image of Theo, my dog and got paw prints. It was very customised and she has a lot of patience.

She put together a stylish outfit in short notice - just 1 week, we swear by her! We bought the wedding outfit from Aura designs. The fittings were a little enduring but result was fine. you can’t go wrong with SS Homme. Very professional and fittings done on time.
