A 1 Hour Perfect Pamper Routine At Home For A Bride To Be!

BY Apoorva | 02 May, 2020 | 795 views | 3 min read

This one is for all brides-to-be in lockdown! While we understand that coronavirus wedding cancellations and postponements can be overwhelming, it’s time to give yourself a pamper session for all the wedding planning work. We promise you that by the end of this article you are going to feel refreshed and happy!

The perfect pamper session is best enjoyed alone so if you are quarantining with your fiancé (lucky you!) or your family – take an hour off them and do this for yourself!

Step 1 – Have An Indulgent Bath

If you have a tub, indulge in a nice hot bath with relaxing bath salts. You can even add some citrus fruits slice like sweet lime or even lemons or flower petals. If you have scented candles, light a few and just relax in the tub. Not only will this help your body to heal all those sore muscles but also just the act of doing nothing is quite refreshing. You can also pay some of your favourite songs and sing along. Don’t have a tub? Take a nice shower! Pick your favourite shower gel and you will walk out smelling like your favourite scent. Don’t forget to lather on some body lotion after your bath!

Step 2 – Give Your Skin Some TLC

Just because you aren’t stepping out doesn’t mean you should ignore your skin. We have the perfect 20-minutes at home facial that you can do without needing a ton of things. Not only will it give your skin a glow but also make you feel like you’ve been pampered at a spa. If you aren’t in a mood to do a lot of things, we would suggest you slap on a cold sheet mask for 15 minutes and then give your face a quick massage for 2-3 mins with your regular moisturizer.

Step 3 – Do Your Nails

Nails are yet another thing that are getting ignored in the lockdown. The constant hand washing and sanitizing routine is also resulting in dry hands. And since there is no time like the present, reward yourself by doing your nails. Simply clean, cut and file. Apply your favourite hand cream and pick a polish that you love. This will not take you more than 15 minutes and will leave you with happy fingers and toes!

Step 4 – Enjoy Your Favourite Activity

Ensure that you reserve the last 20 minutes to doing something you love. It can be a book that you wanted to read, maybe painting or sketching, or even crafting something. Add a mug of your favourite tea or even a glass of wine to this activity to make it more fun! You can even have a quick dance session to get your blood pumping. Avoid getting on your phone at this time and do something that will relax your mind and get you to your happy space.
