Orange may be the new black but who knew it would be the new pink ? From sunset hues to an almost-peach shade, this colour is here to stay and this Engagement showcases it in the prettiest way possible from the bright tangerine outfit to the soft romantic peaches in decor. The The Taj Mahal Palace lent it's backdrop to this Indo-German do while Photography by Beginnings For You were a delight!
Meet Tuhina & Filip
Tuhina and Filip met at London School of Economics where both of them where pursuing their masters degree. And it's a typical library love story! Filip approached Tuhina and after that, everything fell into place. Their common love for traveling has taken them to 15 countries and their happily ever after started with this engagement ceremony in India.
From The Bride-to-be:
"As far as my outfit was concerned, I saw this super pretty white lehenga on Insta and fell in love with it. I love bright colours and definitely wanted to wear a different/ offbeat colour for my engagement. Prathyusha's team was super helpful, dyed a few colours for me and we settled on a unique shade of orange. I loved wearing it! Ooh and I must mention all of it was done over emails, Whatsapp and was all smooth sailing.
For the Engagement ceremony, we wanted a really small intimate gathering of family and really close friends of just 70 people. As far as the planning of the event goes, Filip and me were in London; with the time zone difference and our jobs as well keeping us busy, it was mainly my parents, sister and the sister duo Mallika and Tuhina @ Panodrama Events that handled the function and flow of events. , My only main input being decor - I wanted pastels - peaches and pinks with lots of candles etc. which would go with my look as well.
