Bridal Labels From Smaller Towns That We Absolutely Adore

BY Sakshi | 27 Feb, 2021 | 9563 views | 3 min read

While metro cities have no dearth of designers big and small, we love it when someone from a Tier 2 city makes a mark! There are quite a few bridal wear designers from cities like Jaipur and Chandigarh who design some amazing outfits for brides, and this post highlights some of the ones that WedMeGood absolutely adores!

Pallavi Jaipur★ 4.6

Located in the Pink City, Jaipur, Pallavi Jaipur is one of the most sought after bridal boutique and studio. She has amalgamated traditional forms and modern sensibilities into a contemporary wear while emphasizing on global style as well. She custom designs outfits and has a ready-to-wear line as well.

Akriti by Shakun★ 5

A label from Patiala, Punjab, this one has some pretty picks, and they also make bespoke bridal and other Indo-western as well as traditional outfits. They especially have some nice gota Patti and Phulkari picks, and while they do have vibrant outfits as well, we love the subtle colour palette they play with!

Plumtin★ 4.8

A label based out of Chandigarh, Plumtin does some gorgeous traditional bridal wear with a contemporary twist. Their outfits feature inticate craftsmanship and embroideries, and also customise outfits as per the bride apart from offering some pretty ready-to-wear options.

Asopalav★ 4.2

From Indo-western to traditional sarees, this Ahmedabad-based label has a lot of options for brides out there, and at great price points too. It is one of the biggest and oldest bridal wear stores in Gujarat, and have a lot of pre, wedding and post wedding options for brides.

Nidhi Tholia★ 4.4

Arguably one of the best designers to come out of the Pink City Jaipur, no one probably does gota Patti as well as her. Her outfits have a traditional twist to them, and we especially love the vibrant colours she works with, and adore her outfits for something like the mehendi.

Swati Ubroi★ 4.4

Another Jaipur-based designer who does Gota Patti very well, we like her outfits which range from light to bridal. She does custom-designed outfits as well as ready-to-wear and has a lot of pretty bridal lehenga options!

Harkiran Basra★ 4.4

Extremely popular with Sikh brides, this Chandigarh-based designer makes some stunning outfits which really do stand out. We love the use of offbeat bridal colours like yellow, lavender and white for bridal outfits, and how the outfits are dainty and gorgeous without being over the top.

Punit Balana★ 5

Another Rajasthan-based label, this designer had his break when Mira Kapoor chose to wear his creation on her big day! He has a variety of outfit options for modern brides, with easy breezy fuss free outfits that are trendy yet festive.

Roopa Lamba★ 5

A leading fashion designer from Chandigarh, her style sensibilities exude a blend of the traditional with the modern. Her work includes fusing current silhouettes with classic elements to create the distinctive. She is especially adept at transforming age old trousseaus and reviving them to make something meaningful and beautiful for modern brides.

Rose Girl

A label based out of Chandigarh and popular with Sikh brides, this one stands out for the delicate handiwork on the outfits, which started as handpainted dupattas and outfits, and has now evolved to intricate lehengas with work and embroidery.
