Canopy Beds & A Pool In Every Room - This Hotel in India Is Perfect For Honeymooners

BY Latha Sunadh | 10 Oct, 2017 | 4143 views | 2 min read

Safari on a honeymoon? Come on, rules went out of the window a long time back. Honeymooners are trying out so many things now - not just canoodling at the foot of Effiel Tower. And the clincher: They're even discovering Indian fare that we didn't know about - like this cool Safari lodge we got directed to while we were busy stuffing our faces with popcorn and internet surfing.

This Safari lodge Paatlidun Safari Lodge is close to Jim Corbett National Park, on the outskirts that lead to the narrow valley. But before we venture into its beauty and all, we want to show you some facts. In 2016, this one was named 'Best Hotel for Honeymooners' by Outlook Traveller's Boutique Hotel Awards. Perfect, don't you think?

Where is it and Why it's Amaze?

Near Uttarakhand's Bhakrakot village in a pretty space of 13 acres, and comes with 12 en-suite cottages. Made to look like a traditional Kumaoni home, this one really makes for great Insta-pictures! You name it, they have it - antique furniture, private pools, snug sit-outs and sunlit verandahs. There's even a 'Star Window' that sits above the master beds to guarantee that sleeping under the stars feel. And if you want some privacy, there's something called the 'Butler Window' where you can get your meals delivered. Honeymoon goals y'all.

Talking of food, they serve every fruit and vegetable grown in Paatlidun's farms. So definitely organic and healthy fare!

How much does it cost?

Luxury Cottages start at ₹10,750 and go up while Premium Cottages stand at ₹12,433 and onwards. Well, breakfast included all meals.

Is there more you can do besides lounge?

Dudettes, it's a safari lodge so you have the usual Jungle Safari on a jeep to the Corbett park which is priced at Rs 3,000.

Bird spotting for those who love nature and treks to the Shivaliks. Other sweet things you can do is to go visit the cottage industries that line up the hills and shop for some organic honey and spices!

To know more, go to the website and book it up, right away!
