So here are what the experts recommend!

Dr Meghna Gupta of Delhi Skin Centre recommends

Gluta Boost and AFT Trearment are two Treatments that I recommend to brides to be. One is a micro-needling concept that infuses Peptides and Glutathione into the skin to make it boost radiance and the other is an Advance Fluorescent Technology treatment improving tone, texture and appearance of skin with No Downtime. Our signature Bod'Shine Treatment that treats the whole body to a wonderful experience of exfoliation, a lymphatic drainage massage, detox full body mask and hydration.

Dr. Nirupama Parwanda of Zolie Skin Clinic recommends

I would recommend skin booster for brides. Skin boosters are injectables that improve skin texture, elasticity, hydration and overall appearance. The treatment involves injecting hyaluronic acid which is a soft, gel-like substance under the skin, which improves the skin's elasticity, firmness and radiance giving an overall GLOW. They work brilliantly to target dryness, roughness and fine lines and improve skin tone and texture. However, for best results two sessions per year for maintenance to ensure maximum results and hydration.

Skin Boosters typically last for about six to twelve months. For initial treatment, having two sessions at four-week intervals, with subsequent maintenance treatments once or twice a year is recommended. We recommend getting it done 1-3 months before the wedding. Depending on the skin condition we often recommend 1 to 2 sessions to be done before the wedding. Average cost of skin booster treatment varies form INR 10,000 to INR 20,000 per ml, and usually 2ml are recommended per session.

I recommend to stay away from facials - especially new ones you've not tried before. Facials contain a lot of essential oils and heavy creams that could break you out if you're acne prone. Instead opt for a mild peel like a lactic acid peel. This will exfoliate and hydrate your skin. Exfoliation will smoothen out your skin texture and brighten up your skin - giving you that bridal glow. This is suitable for all skin types

If you're acne prone - go for a carbon Q switch laser. The laser targets melanin in the skin and breaks it down - which leads to a more even skin tone. Bonus - it also targets the melanin in your hair - effectively bleaching it so you have one less thing to worry about

Lastly for sensitive skin - opt for IPL therapy also known as photo facial or photo-rejuvenation. It will decrease redness and add a healthy glow to your skin!

Dr Rashmi Shetty recommends

For a facial, I would recommend our Ra 360° facial. It is perfectly suited for brides. It assists in taking care of quite a few skin conditions like puffiness, dull skin and hydration. It penetrates vitamins and essential nutrients into the skin and relaxes the skin.

For a body treatment, I would recommend a round of Body Polishing or a Q-switch laser for the exposed parts of the body. Body Polishing is essentially a full-body exfoliation that removes dead skin cells, promotes cell regeneration, and moisturizes the skin. It also increases the blood flow giving the skin a healthier glow. The Q-switch treatment is an innovation that uses a laser to produce high-intensity beams in very short pulses that break down pigments that are released into the skin and disposed of by your body. This would help tackle the fine hair and pigmentation and also leave the body with a wonderful glow.

For all brides to be with acne scars or marks one treatment that must be offered is Microneedling with radio frequency. This treatment helps repair damage and promotes collagen synthesis helping the brides achieve even skin texture and healthier-looking skin. 3-4 sittings are enough done at an interval of 4 weeks.

Kaya Clinic recommends

The Kaya 360° Hair Elixir Therapy combines deep nourishing oils, phytonutrient extracts, vitamins, minerals and plant peptides to ensure a healthy scalp, energized hair roots and strong hair fibre. It also helps prevent hair fall through sebum regulating and anti-scalp ageing properties. The therapy addresses dull, limp and breakage-prone hair through shaft strengthening and volumizing effects. Dr.Harshna Bijlani from The AgeLess Clinic recommends

The one treatment every bride and groom should definitely opt for before their big day is a Super-Medi Facial.  They inculcate specific devices and products into a traditional facial and give dramatic results, leaving you with a healthy glow and radiant younger-looking skin. LED facials use proven light therapy that combines red with infrared wavelengths of light that penetrate deep down to the dermis, to stimulate the production of collagen, repair damaged cells and reduce the formation of wrinkles. Light therapy also causes an increase in blood flow to improve the skin texture, tighten skin, close open-pores and give you a brighter more even skin tone. Laser Lightening Facials using brightening lasers like the Q-switched Nd:YAG on the other hand, help with tanning and pigmented marks by instantly brightening your skin and simultaneously bleaching the fine hairs, for glowing lighter skin. The best time to try these facials if you don’t opt for them regularly, is at least one month before your wedding. Once you know it suits your skin, treat yourself by getting another one, a week before the big day and revel in the star-like glow. Another point to keep in mind is that when you’re going for a facial, always go to a good skin clinic and skin expert. Do not trust a parlour or salon with your skin, especially close to your big day.

Nikeeta Uchil from SkinStory recommends

Reveal your skin's beauty and radiance in just a few minutes! Illuminating Radiance Ritual begins with a relaxing welcome massage, cleanse and exfoliation, after which the Ultra Radiance Mask is applied. An energizing digido pressure massage helps the smoothing while radiance-boosting active ingredients absorb into the skin. The application of Absolute Radiance concentrate to the face and neck awakens the skin, and the treatment is finished with a skin-type appropriate cream, leaving the complexion fresh and glowing with radiance.

Dr Geeta Fazalbhoy from Skin & You Clinic recommends

A must-recommend for all brides at Skin And You is the VIT C peel followed by a week’s gap to the ALMA CLEAR LIFT lightening procedure. Both procedures synergistically help to soften, rejuvenate, lighten and even out the skin. They give an everlasting glow and are ideal for any Bride-To-Be. The treatments have no downtime or side effects and create a perfect canvas for pre-bridal make-up.

Apart from these, there are other popular bridal skincare treatments you can try:

Hydrafacial

The HydraFacial is a multistep facial treatment typically performed with a HydraFacial MD. In one session, aestheticians can use the HydraFacial [device] to cleanse, exfoliate, extract, and deliver a variety of rejuvenating serums for brightening and firming skin

Ultherapy

It's a non-surgical facelift! It is used to kick-start collagen production and tighten skin. It uses focused pulsing heat energy to lift and tighten skin on the face, neck, and chest, giving you a sculpted and chiselled face!

Which one will you opt for?
