A beautiful couple, a gorgeous beach and a pretty pastel setting- can it get better than that? Shivani and Kerman had their ethereal beachside wedding in Thailand, and it's one that has us floored! Loving the whole vibe of this one- their wedding had all things dreamy and elegant... just like a pastel paradise! FYI, not getting over these photos anytime soon!
Meet Shivani and Kerman
"We met in college when he interviewed me for a student organization and little did either of us know how things would turn out. What started as a straightforward Q&A turned into a genuine friendship, countless shared experiences, and eventually something much more. It’s a classic "friends to lovers" story and we wouldn't have it any other way. After 7 years, here we are still doing Q&A's -- this time together (and for WedMeGood)", shares the bride.

From The Bride:
Our wedding took place on October 14, 2024. Our wedding in Thailand was all about creating unique and memorable experiences for our guests. We're from the U.S. so choosing Thailand for our wedding was very ambitious and different than what anyone here has done before, but at the same time there was plenty of familiarity in terms of Indian wedding food, hospitality, vendors, and it was close enough to India for all our family & friends to join in the celebrations. We were nervous at first but it ended up being the perfect choice for us to have our dream wedding.
For the Welcome Dinner, we were going for beach club vibe, offering a relaxed and stylish start and opportunity for both sides to meet and kick off the party. We wanted the Sangeet to be a vibrant reflection of traditional Indian charm with red roses & mogra mixed with sufi themed-decor and a classic Bollywood flair, providing the perfect setting for our dance performances and for guests to let loose and celebrate the night with us. We wanted our wedding ceremony to take place on the beach and blend together modern elegance and pastel undertones with two traditions (Hindu and Sikh) coming together. Luckily the weather was on our side and it was a beautiful event that we'll cherish forever. For the reception, we were going for an intimate yet glamorous concert and club vibe, and the result was a truly dazzling event with memorable speeches, a performance from Shaan, and an after party that went on until 5 AM.
We were both very meticulous in our planning, with a lot of hard work put into how each event would look and flow. From fresh coconuts on arrival to free foot massages to a midnight chai & snacks station, we tried to thoughtfully craft each detail to make the celebration truly unforgettable and unique to our guests. One thing we learned is that no matter what anyone says, the little details shine through and the guests will appreciate the effort and thought that went into the planning!!

Incredible, head photographer Amrit has an amazing eye and makes you feel very comfortable. Was very friendly and decisive, came prepared knowing exactly what he wanted us to do. He had our utmost trust that all the pics would come out fantastic and he delivered.
Makeup Artist: Blush Lounge by Sneha
I had the pleasure of working with @blushlounge_sneha, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She personalizes every look to match the vibe and outfit perfectly, whether you're going for full glam or a natural look. What sets her apart is how well she listens to feedback and adjusts the makeup to ensure you feel your absolute best. She’s not just incredibly talented but also super organized and has such a warm and lovely personality. Since you spend a significant part of your wedding day in hair and makeup, it’s so important to have someone kind and pleasant by your side, and she is exactly that. A truly talented artist and an even better human—highly recommend her!
Wedding Planning: Niramit Creations
They did a wonderful job helping us plan our wedding. Their team was highly organized and ensured smooth on-ground coordination across all events. They were professional, attentive, and handled different personalities with ease, creating a comfortable experience for everyone involved. Their efforts in bringing our vision to life were greatly appreciated and we would gladly recommend them to others!

They is known as one of the top decorators in Thailand, and their Instagram portfolio is undeniably impressive. However, the overall experience was deeply disappointing. Despite being the most expensive option, their customer service is severely lacking. Their team comes across as unapproachable, with a snooty attitude that makes them difficult to work with. We had envisioned and specifically requested an all-roses theme for our wedding, which we were incredibly excited about. To our disappointment, what we received was far from what was promised. Instead of the elegant rose theme, we saw purple flowers, fake paper flowers, and a poorly executed setup that did not align with what was agreed upon. It was heartbreaking, as your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life. Communication was also a major challenge, with extremely slow turnaround times between meetings, making the coordination process unnecessarily stressful. On top of all this, they only accept cash payments, which is incredibly inconvenient and outdated. If you're planning a wedding in Thailand, I would not recommend them, especially if you're looking for a decorator who respects your vision and values client satisfaction.

Sangeet - Abhinav Mishra
While Abhinav Mishra is an extremely popular brand, my experience with them was a nightmare. Despite placing my order four months in advance, they failed to deliver on time, leaving me in tears days before the event. When the outfit did arrive, the blouse, lehenga, and dupatta were in three completely different colors, and the blouse fit terribly—completely off from the order sheet. Getting them to acknowledge and fix their mistakes was an uphill battle. They claimed it was impossible to fix the blouse without making a new one, which they said couldn’t be done in two weeks. Frustrated, I took it to a local tailor who fixed everything overnight, and it turned out beautiful. To all NRI brides: please stay away! Look at their Google reviews—I wish I had before ordering. My experience wasn’t unique; I even saw another bride crying outside their store due to similar issues. The lack of professionalism and customer service was shocking.
