What do you do when you have your wedding in India, but are settled across the 7 seas in New Zealand? Well, Real Bride Kiah did! Yep, we are talking about a bride who pick and chose her wedding lehenga over FaceTime, and tried it on for the first time just days before her wedding! Over to Kiah now, who tells all about it!
The vision...
I live in New Zealand, and hadn't been a part of any India wedding since last 4 years, so when we decided to get married all I had in my mind was to be a pastel pink bride, I never wanted to wear a loud colour or as boring as red. I wanted to go as natural as possible to keep it simple and elegant.
The planning...
We finally found what we were looking for, and I picked a lehenga from a store in Chandni Chowk and other outfits from Aashna Behl. This whole process took a few months, and the store person were so helpful and patient. I only tried the lehenga 10 days before my wedding when I landed in Delhi, and it was all I ever wanted!
The 'minimal' look...
Chandni Singh Bridal Makeup is my family friend, when thinking about makeup for my own wedding I can't think of anybody else but her, she brings the best in you, she knew I'm not fond of makeup thus used minimal makeup for me. I totally trusted her.
