Meet Kiran and Rahul
Well, our story very simple, yet really close to my heart. We got introduced by our parents and we dated each other for few months before he proposed me with a 100 feet banner saying "Kiran, will you marry me?" The proposal took my breath away!Pool Party and Mehendi
Wedding Day
From the bride: Right before the wedding celebrations started, we made a promise to each other that we are going to treat this like a vacation and make the most out of it. And trust me it just made every thing so easy and fun for me, especially because I was completely involved in my wedding preps. We started with a traditional Sindhi thread ceremony and Mehendi, went on to have a crazy fun pool party where me and my husband entered in an ATV ! This was followed by our pheras and then an American style reception with toasts and speeches !
I envisioned myself in pastels, nothing too bright or bling and when I saw this Shantanu & Nikhil lehenga, I fell in love with it at first sight.
In terms of decor, instead of choosing full-blown themes, we chose individual elements and details to keep us in budget, sticking to a funky theme for our pool party and going simple the rest of the days. Special mention to our bartender Binny Dhadwal, he did such an amazing job with cocktails . His alcohol infused Gummy bears were a crowd favourite.
