That's why this beautiful Engagement is a winner for today because the design, decor and details really make it a beautiful moment in the sands of time. Well, the best thing about this is the bride and groom whose outfits really made it work and hello, the blouse of the bride is one off-beat idea that really showcased her personal style. We also love the pairing of chandeliers with classic roses - bliss! The decor by Devika Narain and Company was a riot at the pretty venue, Holiday Inn Pune while photography by Cupcake Productions s kept it cool and classy!
Meet Rohit & Shruti
"Rohit & I met through a common friend in 2011, we were friends for 4 years before we started dating. Very randomly one day it was just the two of us for dinner and something clicked. We started dating," says Shruti.
Our Engagement Story
Two years after we started dating, he took me on a surprise trip to Jodhpur. I was completely unaware where we were heading until he handed over the boarding pass to me at the airport. We stayed at Umaid Bhawan Palace which was also a big surprise to me. On the very same night we had a private dining at Umaid Bhawan Palace at the Baradari, where post dinner he popped the question and I was awestruck at that moment filled with emotions. And of course, I said YES. And then finally a year later, we got engaged in Pune and we will be getting married in December at Umaid Bhawan Palace, at the very same place where he got down on his knees and asked me to marry him. It's everything one could ask for.
All of our vendors were amazing. Devika’s work we had seen and loved. After we hired her for the Engagement, a questionnaire was sent to us to get to know us better, which was great. Post that the first presentation she gave us, we loved her design & concept, she had taken into account everything we like and everything we don’t. It was perfect.
We had also seen Cupcake Production's work on social media and we had a reference from a common friend. At the very first meeting we connected really well with Jayant & Shruti, which I believe is very important. And we absolutely love the results (photos), they are above and beyond our imagination. Abu Jani & Sandeep Khosla's outfit fitted me beautifully.
I wanted something modern, comfortable yet fashionable and the outfit was just that. I didn’t want a lehenga in the traditional sense. Fittings were perfect on my first trial itself and it was a smooth process.
Shantanu & Nikhil on the other and, met us personally as we wanted a custom made outfit and he understood our aesthetics and the outfit he designed was exactly the style we wanted... actually, it was better! Also Perfexion Events were amazing, without whom the event wouldn’t go as smoothly as it did. We had no glitches only because they listened and planned it beautifully.
