Grand Home Wedding With The Bride In A Pineapple Yellow Lehenga!

One look and you're not going to believe this was a home wedding. It had gorgeous decor, a unique Anamika Khanna lehenga and of course, lots and lots of fun and laughter! But what we loved the most was Prerna and Manav's adorable love story- one filled with stolen moments, and a surprised father of the bride! Prerna and Manav's wedding was just like life in the movies. Complete with a loving family, each with a backstory, adorable friends constantly bickering and pampering the bride, and all of this in the backyard of a warm home in Amritsar. The location for the cocktail was Windsong, an AirBnB holiday home that the bride herself runs. It happened over two days and had just under 50 people who came to bless the bride and groom. Most of the family were staying at their home, which was full to the brim with lots of madness and chaos.

Meet Prerna and Manav
Manav has been our family friend for as long as I know. As crazy as it sounds he was super close to my dad so I would see him pretty often. some where between stealing glances at each other and bickering over little things we fell in love!

From The Bride:
I've always wanted to get married from home and thanks to the pandemic I got to do just that. Manav and had our dream wedding with some of my closest family and friends by our side. All the functions except the cocktail were at home. As for my outfit I never thought I would wear any colour other than red on my wedding day. Then I went wedding shopping, tried on lehenga after lehenga and they all just looked the same. On my third trip to Anamika Khanna I saw this lehenga, at first I was a little hesitant about the colour but when I tried it on, I knew it was the one!

Suparna & Samiya Amritsar (Mehendi): For my mehendi I was looking for something traditional, they customised an outfit specially for me and it turned out exactly how I wanted.
Seema Gujral Delhi (Cocktail): My experience at Seema Gujral was amazing. Anita helped my family and I (we all wore Seema Gujral) choose the perfect outfits and made sure fittings were perfect.
Anamika Khanna (Wedding): It was an absolute pleasure to shop my wedding lehenga from their Delhi store. Jasreen made sure the lehenga was made to measure and the fittings went well. The best part is no two lehengas look alike, making all Anamika Khanna brides look unique.
