Who needs paper when you can get your wedding invite etched on acrylic? These make for some serious conversation starters and also would be great to frame and put up on your bedroom wall later on.

Ghost chairs not only let the true beauty of your sequinned or printed table-cloth show through, but also work great to give an illusion of space by being a great alternative to bulky, high chairs which block your vision. These are modern, fun and would go with any type of decor. "Originally, these ghost chairs are manufactured by a company called Kartell, and they provide a modern, fun alternative " says Devika.

Plexiglass pool covering

plexiglasspool Have a venue with a stunning pool or water body? Get married right on top of it by covering it with thick plexiglass and putting your mandap on top of it. Do discuss the feasibility of this with your decorator though .

Want a modern, but still fairytale like mandap? Use a plexiglass structure and keep it simple with fairy lights and minimal flowers. These make for great pictures as the sides of the mandap do not block the photographers view, and let the guests see the ceremony clearly.
