Nalli Silks Bridal Collection Silk Sarees – WMG Picks From Instagram

BY Meenu | 30 Mar, 2021 | 9705 views | 3 min read

When we think of choosing the wedding sarees, one of the first places that comes to our mind is Nalli Silks. They are one of the oldest, and most sought after brands for wedding outfits, specially trousseau sarees. So, we thought to curate some of the best sarees from Nalli for all you brides-to-be. These are great for your trousseau, your pre-wedding functions and as your wedding day outfit as well!

Traditional Reds

Let us start with the reds. Forever a classic, you could choose this as your Muhurtham pattu or your Oonjal ceremony saree, if you are wearing a nine yards for the wedding.

There are so many options to choose from too!! You can go with a simple red Kanjeevaram like how this bride did with the zari border and motifs in circles.

You could also opt for a heavy red Kanjeevaram with full zari with or without a contrast edging. Nalli silks has it all.

Bright Yellow

The next bridal favourite is yellow. Cheerful, bright and can work with most colors for contrast, yellow is always a part of the bridal wedding collection.

We love how this brocade blouse amps up a simple yellow and pink pattu saree with a light pink contrast border.

This yellow and blue Kanjeevaram is another great way to work yellow in your trousseau. This is a great choice for pre wedding functions too!!

Evergreen Pinks

Pink is the new red. We all know that. Be it the Vritham or the Muhurtham a gorgeous pink Kanjeevaram will make it perfect!

WMG loved so many pink silk sarees from the Nalli silks insta page, we have chosen these for you.

Choose between this simple border dark pink Kanjeevaram with the peacock motifs or the extravagant full zari pink Kanjeevarams or the plain pink saree with a heavy border, choose the one you love.

Green Grandeur

Green has been on the bridal radar forever too. We get so confused when we choose a green Kanjeevaram- it could be it a dark green one or a parrot green pattu saree that we can pair with a whole set of contrast blouses.

We also love this greenish blue with that gorgeous no border but a contrast maroon pallu.

Purple Galore

Can we now move to the purple and blue shades of the bridal silk sarees? Purple and violets have been a winter favorite, but now brides have been rocking purples and violets for their spring and summer weddings too.

Warm Blues

Blue is a color which brides have been warming up to in the recent past for their ethnic wear. It is a great option for those who wish to go offbeat, and still shine bright!

Ivory Shine

Another color that is worked into many South Indian weddings is ivory. An ivory Kanjeevaram with a red or a gold border is a norm in many communities to be worn during the Muhurtham.

Even if you do not have such a norm, an ivory Kanjeevaram is a bridal must have.
