Pretty Fairytale-ish Bangalore Engagement With A Kanjeevaram Bride!

Dreamy decor paired with a pretty minimalistic lehenga alongside a Kanjeevaram saree with a twist - that's how we'll sum up this cute Engagement from Bangalore. The bride's only brief to the decorator was to make it as dreamy as possible with a modern and contemporary fairytale twist. Apart from that, the beautiful traditional decor with a flower-laden mandap is even more charming. The venue, JW Mariott, Bangalore made for a pretty sight and a perfect backdrop for all the shenanighans whil photographer Ankit Singh kept things on an even keel with his fabulous photography!

Meet Aishwarya & Vikyath

"Once in a while, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairytale. We learned about each other’s existence on the 2nd of September, 2017 when our mothers coaxed us to speak to each other over a voice call. He lives in the USA, and at that moment, I was visiting my cousins in South Africa. I instantly fell for his pictures and he was called Mr. dimple among my cousins. He was truly the Prince Charming of my dreams. I remember to this very moment, taking a stroll on the Plettenberg Bay Beach, SA, my cousin & I had a certain conversation about Vikyath and I happen to make a secret wish. It turned out to be a dream come true. We had our “first talk” once I reached Bangalore, a month later on the 4th of October, 2017. He finally made it down to India on the 24th of December, our first meet happened at my house over lunch with our families the same day. The same evening he asked me out on a date! It was my favorite restaurant blue ginger at the Taj Westend, yes! It was the “Paradise Table”! Halfway through dinner, even before I knew what was happening, he went down on one knee and asked me to marry him and I said yes!! We rang in the New Years together, and about a month later we were engaged in a magical fairytale like decor," says Aishwarya.

We found the best event manager Poonam, who delivered exactly what I had in mind. It was spectacular.. words can not describe how perfect everything was. The best part was she stuck around with us until the very end of the event delivering everything that was requested. Compliments are still pouring in. I didn’t have to mention the theme to any of the guests, they all knew it was a fairy-tale engagement and the decor spoke for itself.
