When we came across Apeksha and Mohit's wedding on Instagram, our fingers instinctively double clicked! This is one of those weddings that have such a modern vibe about them- right from the venue to the outfits and the photos- everything is offbeat yet gorgeous! Loving Real Bride Apeksha's bridal style with a stunning sage green lehenga and jaw-dropping jewellery to match! Possibly one of our most fave bridal looks of 2024!
Meet Apeksha and Mohit
We were introduced nearly four years ago through a common friend who was visiting and staying with Mohit in New York. It was in this very apartment where we currently live together that we first met. Most of my conversation that evening was with Mohit's brother, rather than Mohit himself. However, Mohit surprisingly remembers what I was wearing that day. We were introduced because I'm a fashion photographer and Mohit owns his own fine jewelry company, so there was potential for us to work together. Fast forward to March 2023, when I had just returned after spending 11 months in India, traveling for both work and leisure. Mohit slid into my DMs and asked if I was back in New York for good. I said yes, and he made plans for us to meet sometime in mid-April, initially for work purposes. Little did I know, he had already set his sights on marrying me from that very day. He continued to make plans with me week after week, and I simply agreed to all of them. That's how our relationship started abruptly and never ceased.

About The Wedding
Our wedding took place on November 22, 2024. It was dreamy, festival-like and collaborative. I too joined the baraat for an hour and that was probably the most fun!
Vendor Reviews
Photography: Naman Verma
From the moment Mohit and I decided to get married and plan our wedding, Naman was the one person I knew I wanted to work with on our special day. As a fashion and beauty photographer myself, choosing the right photographer was the biggest bet of this wedding, and Naman exceeded every expectation. He was the first artist we booked, even before hiring our planners or finalizing a venue.
Naman was an absolute dream to work with—gentle, calming, and incredibly professional. He made us feel completely at ease in front of the camera and gave such clear and thoughtful direction that we never felt unsure or awkward.
Naman brought so much fun and energy, staying with us until the early hours of every event. He might also have been one of the best-dressed people I've ever seen working on location! His work truly speaks for itself—it was nothing short of stunning and magical. If we had the chance, we’d work with him a hundred times over!
Makeup Artist: Rounika Rimonn
Rounicka and her makeup/hair team were an absolute dream to work with—patient, kind, and incredibly skilled at creating the flawless no-makeup makeup look I love. She worked her magic on me, my mom, mother-in-law, and sister-in-law, making sure we all felt beautiful and ready for every event—and even managed to impress my dad and father-in-law with their work (a rare feat!).
Decorator: Discovery Events
They came on board just a few months before our wedding and flawlessly managed every detail, making the process stress-free and seamless. From their quick responses and proactive follow-ups to bringing on a fantastic social media vendor as part of their team, they went above and beyond to ensure every moment was beautifully captured and memorable! They brought our vision to life with stunning themes for each of our main events: Bagh-e-Bahaar for the Welcome Lunch, Gypsies of Thar for the Sangeet, Padharo Sa for the Rajasthani Lunch, Kesariya Balam for the Wedding, and Chandni Raatein for the Reception Dinner. Their attention to detail and flawless execution of decor and props made every moment unforgettable!
