Sister Of The Bride Style : Meet Bhavya!

BY Latha Sunadh | 14 Nov, 2016 | 15222 views | 3 min read

You do remember this really sweet and glam Telugu wedding of Leelu and Pavan we featured here on here that had the most amazing lehengas and a ton of beautiful kanjeevarams? Well, looks like the bride wasn't the only one kicking up a glam storm in her pretty outfits. It's also Leelu's sister Bhavya who really wore some great labels and outfits that were completely gorgeous and made for great pictures. Here's a look at her wardrobe - so so chic, guys! We asked her a few questions about her personal style and her enviable lehengas.

Bhavya's personal style...

My outfits were considered on priority by my family during the entire wedding preparations. There is lot of thought that went on to make me look traditional yet trendy in my outfits. Each of us had a different vision towards my outfits – Mom wanted to ensure that I carried uniqueness in all the occasions, my sister wanted my outfits to add style, smartness and elegance, whereas my top priority was to have the outfit that can best define a ‘bride’s sister’ well.

Where I bought my outfits...

We worked on the style I wanted and then went on hunt for the designers who can best match to my requirements. I picked my Mehendi tunic and over coat from Sk’n Couture by Sakshi Kandya Nowlakha in Kolkata, Sangeet lehenga is created by the Pink Mirror, Kolkata, Lehenga for Bride’s making ceremony was specially designed by my sister (bride), Reception lehenga was an outcome of Manish Malhotra★ 4.9 ’s designs and saree for wedding is from VRK – Hyderabad.

Added touches...

My sister worked to make all my outfits have a touch of trendiness. The outfits were chosen to stand out by making small additions that define me wherever possible. For instance, one of the lehengas designed by the bride had vintage cars on it and was very surprising to see how those minute loves / likes of mine were considered by her to display through my outfits. Also, I wasn’t easily convinced with the thought of carrying a saree during the wedding and my sister made the saree more interesting by choosing funky spikes to be added on the jacket.

Special outfits among them...

Two outfits are very special and dear to me as they were designed by my sister (bride) – Lehenga for engagement (not in story) and bride’s making ceremony. The embroidery was sketched by the bride and one month of work went on to get the end product.

My makeup and hair...

My makeup and hair was done by Siro Make-up Studio - by Edward and Zing★ 4.8 . I chose the hairstyle that best compliments the outfit and Zing team did an amazing job. I felt overjoyed when I received plenty of compliments from my close family and friends.
