The lull of the ocean, the gorgeous sky during dusk and a wedding with some pin-worthy decor, Saumya & Kanisth's Goa wedding was straight out of our beach wedding dreams. Planning a destination wedding is no easy task, but with the expert team of Purple Tree Events Solution , the couple's Goa sojourn was nothing short of legendary. The team not only helped them plan the wedding but also executed stunning decor. The floral mandap on the beach is absolutely beautiful. Adding to the whole vibe were Saumya & Kanisth's outfits - the couple chose to coordinate in shades of peach and the colour shined against the bright glow during sunset. Meet Saumya & Kanisth
It’s a funny story! We met while studying in Boston, the first time we met, believe it or not we didn’t like each other at all! We met a mutual friends party and basically spent the whole night making fun of each other. We didn’t actually spend time one on one until a few months later, that too happened by chance. We were both alone in Boston, there were still a few days before our next semester started and everyone was still traveling back. What we thought would be a short drive ended up being a never ending conversation that went on for almost three hours. The rest is history!

Our wedding was a small but bright light in the middle of the pandemic. Everything was so carefully planned not only keeping every thing I had been dreaming of since I was a little girl in mind, but also keeping the safety of our guests minds. Planning a wedding is never easy, planning a wedding in the middle of the pandemic was like a never ending suspense movie. It wasn’t easy but I wouldn’t have it any other way! We had a small group of people that mattered to us and those three days were the best of my life. I think my Nana said it best, in the middle of wedding planning whenever he would see me feeling down he would say “the day of your wedding the heavens will shine and shower you with blessings” and I think that’s the best way to sum it all up. We even had a rain storm the night before the wedding ceremony!

It was the perfect location for our beach wedding. I grew up in The Bahamas with blue oceans and white sand as my backyard, so having a beach wedding has always been my dream. The ITC was perfect, their staff was amazing, and they made sure our small bubble was safe, healthy, and well taken care of!
Makeup Artist: Nav Brar
I don’t know where to begin with Nav! As the wedding progressed she became like a friend for me. The moment I saw her profile on Instagram and reviews on WedMeGood, I knew she would be the perfect makeup artist and she was that and more. She truly made me feel and look like a princess and I can’t thank her enough!
Wedding Planning and Decor: Purple Tree Event Solutions
I don’t even know where to begin with PurpleTree. We had started planning the wedding when our guest list was much before 50 people and the wedding was basically one year in the making. PurpleTree went above and beyond to make sure every little element I had dreamt of was there. They truly understand who we are as a couple and where I was coming from with the things I wanted to have and made sure those sentiments were felt by all of our guests. Nafisa and her team were patient and attentive. Every color scheme, every piece of decor, every smallest detail in each event was thought through careful and distinctly different from the other events. At any given point they always had solutions and options for any obstacle we would face (and believe me there were many!). When we started planning the wedding I remember telling the team that there are things that I’ve been dreaming of since I was a little girl and they really took that to hard and moved mountains to make it happen. I can’t thank them enough for being patient, and also brave for taking the challenge head on and creating a wedding that was beyond imagination. A special shoutout to Siya from the team, who handled everything from our planning our decor to fitting me into a golf cart while in my wedding lehenga to get to the wedding venue, calmly and with a smile on her face. Everything from logistics to decor to dealing constantly changing SOPs, lockdowns, and curfews, PurpleTree saw it all and handled it all and we can’t thank them enough.

I had a seen a video of a wedding they had done and the couple had a done a shoot on the beach, and I instantly knew that this was the team I wanted. The team is extremely experienced, hands on, and talented. Not to mention fun! They made us feel extremely comfortable. They were very patient, especially during our early morning couple shoot the day after the wedding. They knew exactly what they wanted and what they needed to deliver photos and memories that’ll last a lifetime. They were so kind and mixed well with all the guests. Our final photos and videos are stunning and it’s amazing to look back at all the memories.

Halima is so talented and creative. Her designs are absolutely beautiful, her passion for her craft really comes across. We started my bridal Mehendi early in the morning, and she was extremely patient and also very friendly and warm.
