BY Anupriya | 22 Dec, 2021 | 3357 views | 6 min read

Even though the year 2021 witnessed its own share of uncertainties & postponed celebrations due to the pandemic, nothing could stop our celebrity brides from putting up their best fashion foot forward & sending the netizens (including us) into a frenzy with their sartorial choices. And mind you, each of them had their A-game one!

Whether it was Katrina who recently blew our minds with her quintessential from the esteemed archives of the Bridalwear maestro Sabyasachi or Patralekha who made an upbeat case with a personalized veil or Natasha Dalal who chose to slip into her own designs, each one made a mark. Don't believe us? Scroll through and take a look down the memory lane, for yourself!

Katrina Kaif

Starting with none other than our very own Katrina Kaif who sent the netizens in frenzy with her impeccable bridal looks. Be it her classic red bridal lehenga, the stunning paneled beauty, or the sheer saree replete with 3D florals, the actress pulled off each ensemble equally well & got our hearts fluttering in awe.

Patralekhaa

Swearing by the Bollywood ritual, Patralekha too placed her bet on quintessential reds from the bridal wear archives of the maestro Sabyasachi Mukherjee for her big day. She wore a red tulle saree with an embroidered veil that was inscribed with a Bengal verse penned by Sabyasachi for the couple to mark their special day. While her Mehendi look was all about vivid blues & pinks, her metallic cape & bustier set from Amit Aggarwal for Sangeet was another interesting choice.

Dia Mirza

Dia Mirza was truly the epitome of grace on her big day. Taking the sustainable yet stylish route, she picked an irresistibly stunning banarsi saree for her wedding, with the idea of reusing & wearing it again & again. And we are truly inspired by her decision!

Yami Gautam

Talk about the prettiest celebrity looks from 2021, and we had to have Yami on the list. Keeping it understated yet classy, the Uri actress embraced a time-honored weave, an antique heirloom Nath, traditional hues, and all sorts of elegance during her wedding ceremonies. And we still can't decide what we loved the most!

Natasha Dalal

Making for a voguish bride, Natasha dressed in pastels & gold on both Mehendi as well as the wedding day. While her bridal lehenga was a beautiful gold tulle detailed with abstract floral, her Mehendi lehenga had hints of pink, purple & gold which matched perfectly with her heirloom necklace.

Anushka Ranjan

Clad in a stunning hue of lavender, Anushka was a cynosure of all eyes on her wedding day. And coincidentally, Pantone announced the colour of her lehenga aka Blurple as the colour of the year 2022. (Now, isn’t that cool?) Additionally, we also loved her all red sangeet stunner & the pastel-hued Anita Dongre lehenga which she picked for the pre-wedding festivities.

Rhea Kapoor

Being a fashion-forward designer herself, it was a given that Rhea wouldn't settle for anything less than 'extraordinary' for her big day. So when her first look came in, we weren't surprised at all! She wore a beautiful white saree with a cape by Anamika Khanna, with statement jewellery (her mom's!) but it was her crystal veil that got the internet talking instantly!

Ankita Lokhande

Ankita Lokhande’s wedding might be the newest entrant to the 2021 club, but it surely was one surprise package filled to the brim with fashion-forward choices. From embracing an all gold, regally stunning bridal lehenga on the wedding day, to frolicking about in vivid hues & a sequinned stunner on her Mehendi & Sangeet, she did it all to take her bridal quotient a notch above.

Shraddha Arya

Remember TV fame actress, Shraddha Arya from ‘Kundali Bhagya’? She recently tied the knot with naval officer Rahul Sharma in a traditional wedding ceremony. The ace actress opted for a crimson red lehenga with antique gold touches for her wedding day. However, it was her multi-colored Mehendi outfit that totally won us over!

Disha Parmar

Another TV actress who managed to serve some impressive bridal looks in 2021 has to be Disha Parmar. The ‘Bade Ache Lagte Hain’ actress wore from a traditional red ensemble to a contemporary midnight blue lehenga & a fully sequinned saree with sneakers, qualifying to be one of our most favorite celebrity bridal looks from the year gone by.

Angira Dhar

Actress Angira Dhar too took the fail-safe route and slipped into an alluring red saree on her big day. She paired it up with matching gold jewels, a no-makeup makeup look, and a bunch of glass bangles.

Sanjana Ganesan

If Jasprit was a dapper groom in pink, Sanjana was no less. Colour-coordinating in an ethereal pink Sabyasachi lehenga & matching dupattas, she had us clean bowled with her fashion sensibilities. Not to forget her lime green Mehendi lehenga & the aubergine beauty that she had picked for her Sangeet.

Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton truly lived her fairytale moment when she walked down the aisle, dressed in her custom Oscar de la Renta gown that boasted of lacey sleeves, cascading pressed flowers, and 20 layers of tulle-now that's something!

Lilly Collins

Looking for downright enchanting vibes? Then you just can't miss  Lily's breathtaking bridal attire. The ' Emily In Paris' actor wore a custom Ralph Lauren produced with the finest patterned lace and paired it up with a hooded cape featuring Swarovski-encrusted flowers.

Ariana Grande

Popular Singer Ariana Grande tied the knot with Dalton Gomez in a sweet, hush-hush ceremony. Even though the celebrations were kept low-key, the gorgeous lady didn't fail to level up the oomph quotient with her sartorial choices. She wore a custom Vera Wang gown with a shoulder-length veil, and her fans couldn't help but mention how it looked inspired by Audrey Hepburn's bridal look from the famous film Funny Face.
