So we thought brides-to-be deserve some extra love in 2021 too, and we've come up with the ultimate bridal checklist- 2021 edition, which has anything and everything you would want to make sure your big day is as special as you've always wanted it to be, especially if it is a delayed one!

12 Months To Go

• Determine the budget & scale of the wedding
• Start venue hunting & shortlisting

11 Months To Go

• Estimate the guest count 
• Start shortlisting & hiring vendors

10 Months To Go

• Browse and research bridal trends and outfits

9 Months To Go

• Book your wedding venue and ask regarding cancellation policy
• Block rooms for guests if required

8 Months To Go

• Browse and save decor ideas
• Make your wedding Pinterest board

7 Months To Go

• Research wedding planners if needed 
• Research photographers
• Research Makeup Artists

6 Months To Go

• Get wedding insurance if possible 
• Browse invitation ideas

5 Months To Go

• Start visiting bridal outfit stores 
• Start visiting jewellery stores

4 Months To Go

• Finalise and book all your vendors especially photographer
• Start finalising your guest list
• Finalise your invitation wording
• Start building up your bridal trousseau

3 Months To Go

• Place the order for your bridal outfits and jewellery 
• Finalise groomwear
• Order your wedding invites
• Send out your Save-The-Dates
• Book mehendi artist
• Start browsing hairstyle ideas
• Book your flights if it is a destination wedding

2 Months To Go

• Order sweets / favours for your invite 
• Start distributing and sending out invitations 
• Do a site visit if possible with the decorator/ planner
• Browse bridal entry ideas and songs
• Browse couple entry ideas and songs
• Find and book choreographer 
• Have a food tasting and finalise menu
• Book Panditji and band 
• Do a trial and finalise look with MUA 

1 Month To Go

• Do your first bridal fitting for the outfits
• Have your bachelorette party
• Practice your bridal solo/ couple dance/ bridesmaid dance
• Book your wedding cake
• Find trousseau packer
• Start your pre-bridal skincare packages 
• Buy bridal accessories & add ons
• Get a final estimate on number of attending guests, especially for a destination wedding. 
• Organise logistics and transport for guests 

2 Weeks To Go

• Do your final bridal outfit fitting
• Give your bridal outfits for steam ironing / packing if you're travelling
• Pack your suitcases for your destination wedding or new home
• Check up with your photographer regarding specific shots you'd want

1 Week To Go

• Do everything on this checklist

3 Days To Go

• Get a manicure and pedicure
• Reconfirm time with all your vendors
• Finalise your conveyance to and from the salon / venue if required

24 Hours Before

• Do everything on this checklist

Wedding Day

• Carry cash to make on the spot payments
• Carry your own snacks and water bottle
• Keep your bridal emergency kit handy
• Make sure to wear an open front top
• Text your groom-to-be something lovely!
