This Bride Had A Super Fun Sitcom Themed Bachelorette!

Oh how we love a cool bachelorette! Of course, travelling to a new city or country with your bridal squad is amazing, but having a crazy themed bachelorette party is a pretty frikking idea too when you can't go anywhere else! Real Bride Ragini had a Sitcom themed bachelorette, that too on short notice just 2 days before her wedding in Ahmedabad, and we loved what a hoot it was!
The Characters
Spoiler Alert, some of the characters for the bridal shower were: Bride: Moira Rose from Schitt’s Creek, Bride’s sister; Daenerys Targaryen from GoT, other characters included: Emily, Rachel, Harley Quinn, Eleven, Lucifer, Jake Peralta, Berlin (Money Heist)! Now isn't that super fun?
The Decor
There are so many cute ideas to pick from this one, and we loved how it all came together so well. There were references from almost every TV show we love- right from Friends, to GoT to Schitt's Creek and even Wednesday- and the best part was, it wasn't only the dressing up- even the décor reflected the theme!
From customised candles and coasters to beautiful tablescapes with little tellies displaying the names- we loved the attention to detail!
The Food
We spotted a lot of cute finger foods and quirky items which made the bachelorette even more special! The tablescape was gorgeous as it is thanks to the cute little additions, but the theme reflected in the food too- customised cupcakes and unique cocktails!
From The Bride:
I barely had 3 months to plan my wedding, and I didn’t have the time and bandwidth for a bachelorette. Thus I planned to keep only a bridal shower on the 18th of Jan 2023 (2 days prior to my wedding). I didn’t really want the standard bridal showers with the gals cos well that doesn’t speak about me as well. I decided to do a bridal shower which speaks about me and I instantly knew I wanted a sitcom theme bridal shower.
I asked all friends to dress up according to theme as their favourite sitcom/tv show artist and I am so glad all of them were equally enthusiastic and were all dressed. The décor & the food all was catered to our theme. The sit down dinner concluded with toasts/roasts by my friends. I also had a small after party with super fun games and karaoke post dinner and it was surely a night to remember.
