#WeddingInspiration: Our Favourite Celeb Looks from Designer Masaba Gupta's Wedding

BY The WMG Bride | 23 Nov, 2015 | 10949 views | 4 min read

Country's perkiest designer, Masaba Gupta recently got hitched to Madhu Mantena, producer of Phantom films. In a whirlwind of the proceedings of the three-day grand affair, the who's who of B-town graced her nuptials with their presence, wearing some exquisite outfits that give us tons of inspiration. As always, we pulled out 12 of the best celeb looks from Masaba's wedding - looks that'll help you draw oodles of inspiration from this wedding season. Take a look:

1. Masaba

Masaba-sangeet

Photography: Stories by Joseph Radhik

Wearing a vibrant Sanjay Garg ensemble from Raw Mango, Masaba strutted at her sangeet looking every bit adorable! Bride-to-be who are a little towards the plumper side, how about styling your sangeet lehenga this way?

2. Sonam Kapoor

Sonam Trust Sonam to push boundaries of traditional wear with her eccentric picks! Is that a belt worn over a jacket saree? Whatever it is, she steals the cake in Anamika Khanna!

3. Alia Bhatt

Alia-Sangeet Just how adorable does Alia look at Masaba's Sangeet? She looks even younger than she really is, what's with her dupatta-less Manish Malhotra lehenga, a youthful hairdo, and that eye-pleasing colour!

4. Kangana Ranaut

Kangana-sangeet Oomph! Oomph! And more oomph! Raising the style quo of the evening was Kangana wearing a beige Sabyasachi, styled with a faux bob. If you're not a fan of too much jewellery, wear a lehenga that covers for all the bling required at the event!

5. Mira Rajput

Mira B-town's new bahu, Mira Rajput totally stole our heart with this beautiful sheer saree from Arpita Mehta that not many have the style to rock! Guess, it's to do with her demure personality, eh? To replicate the look, accessorize your sheer saree with nothing but a statement necklace and a blingy clutch.

6. Sophie Chaudhary

Sophie Flaunting some skin at the designer's Sangeet was Sophie Chaudhary in a svelte Anita Dongre lehenga. While hers is an out-and-out traditional look (umm, gajra, statement earrings and the multitude of latkans), you can tone down the look by styling your hair in soft waves.

7. Anushka Ranjan

Anushka Going all above and beyond with her styling for MnM's reception was Anushka Ranjan wearing a midnight blue floral embroidered jacket worn over an embellished crop top and a bright yellow lehenga from SVA. Now, how's that for creating a statement?

8. Divya Khosla Kumar

Divya Another SVA spotting, and this one, we like just a tad bit more. Maybe it's the classic combination of black and gold? While we'd like to point out that we're kind of getting bored of the cropped-top-and-embellished-skirt combination, you can always add a dupatta to it and drape it in an unusual way to keep things spicy!

8. Kangana Ranaut

Kangana-reception It's raining sheer, hallelujah! For the MnM reception, Kangana wore a white floral saree by Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla. Notice the absence of jewellery here? All she accessorised with was a blingy clutch and a red lip. Way to go en route minimalism, Ms. Ranaut! Take a bow!

10. Alia Bhatt

Alia-Reception Also wearing Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla at MnM's reception do was Alia, again in white with a dash of pink and red! Unlike her sangeet look, this one was more polished and classy. Major props to the hint of purple under her lower eye line to match her earrings!

11. Sonam Kapoor

Sonam-reception Speaking of polished dressing, Sonam wore an outfit by her favourite designer, Anamika Khanna, at Masaba's reception. It's safe to say that no matter what the event, Sonam goes all out with her styling. We're majorly crushing on that kundan neckpiece! Want so bad!

12. Aditi Rao Hyadri

Aditi And that, is how you rock Indo-western fusion! Aditi is one of the many celebrities whose styling is seldom not on point. We're absolutely in love with her black ensemble by Surendri, accessorised boldly with just a red lip and statement earrings!

13. Neha Dhupia

Neha Boho brides-to-be! Here's an easy-breezy outfit you can run errands in without having to take care of a falling dupatta or an unsightly cleavage peep! The fierce electric blue-and-black-and-white combo ensures you're the center of attraction without even having to try!

14. Masaba

Masaba-reception And, lastly, the bride herself! Dressed in Anamika Khanna, Masaba rocked this cream cape-style choli and lehenga look, looking resplendent. Our only gripe about the look is those two weirdly placed booblets! Why, oh why? Though she carried it off very well.
