WMG Red Carpet Bride at Ensemble: Marsala

BY The WMG Bride | 02 Apr, 2015 | 5000 views | 2 min read

Marsala is the color of this year according to Pantone, so we thought it was only fair that one of our brides to be who visited the Ensemble store for our red carpet bride feature wore this rich, deep wine colored hue. So when we saw this rich, Manish Malhotra floor length kalidar anarkali , we knew it would be the perfect color to set off Kanishka's skintone and the intricate detailing would look stunning on camera. As Sakshi Malik and her team got to work for makeup, Devang Singh and his team captured all the madness and fun that our drama-queen Kanishka gave !

Meet Kanishka & her Manish Malhotra anarkali

Kanishka is tying the knot in the next couple of months and STILL hasn’t found her dream lehenga yet. Her first outfit was a coral raw silk, summery bridal outfit which she absolutely fell in love with and  this deep , rich ensemble was the perfect contrast to the first outfit. If you are having a sufi night, this would be such a beautiful, elegant outfit to sport!   4-deep-marsala-colored-anarkali-0011-deep-marsala-colored-anarkali2-manish-malhotra3-manishmalhotraanarkali2-manish malhotra anarkali1-manish-malhotraanarkali2-manishmalhotra5-deep-marsala-colored-anarkali-0021-_X5A9313 Outfit Details
  • Marsala colored Anarkali set available at  from Ensemble (Find them on  facebook here)
  • Designer : Manish Malhotra
  • Price : 1.5 Lakh INR +
  • Jewellery: From Ensemble jewellery collection in store.
  • Buy it : Available at Ensemble , New Delhi and Mumbai
  • Photography:  Weddings by Devang Singh .
  • Makeup: Sakshi Malik
From the bride: After the previous outfit which was bright and summery, the WMG team thought this would be the perfect contrast as it was elegant, rich and more mature ! While I was initially apprehensive as Iv never worn this color before, I was surprised to see how great it looked in the photos and against my skintone and it fit like a dream. My favourite thing about this outfit was the detailing.  The dull silver embroidery on the sleeves with mirror work interspersed in between was gorgeous and the dupatta with kashmiri kadhai was the cherry on top. It's every brides dream to wear Manish Malhotra and mine came true albeit for a day!
