I only came to India 2 weeks before my wedding so I had to book my MUA by only looking at reviews from WMG. I saw some really good reviews for Aakriti Gandhi but I was still a little nervous on directly meeting her on my wedding day. I had some specific ideas in my mind about my look (I don't use makeup at all, so I had some doubts on what would look good and what won't). Aakriti was available to meet on a short notice, but since I was really busy (doing everything in last 2 weeks), she was very understanding and answered all my questions & doubts over phone multiple times. Like some other MUA's that I spoke to, she didn't have any unreasonable demands on my skin care or products that I have to purchase beforehand (I did NO special skin care for my wedding). She was right on time, very professional (had everything prepared), and she completed my make up and my sister's on time (I was ready before time :D). Moreover she even made sure to listen to my ideas and it was perfect. Exactly as I wanted! Since I never did any makeup before, I did not want any bright colors. Not much can be done when it comes to variation with an hour at hand to change but Aakriti made sure I had 2 different looks for the reception and the wedding. The entire event was working late as per schedule but she was really patient and in fact helped me also calm down. Aakriti is the best professional that i could have asked for. Her patience with my panic stricken msgs and umpteen looks that I discussed was commendable and only she could have gotten away with all those angry glares from my parents with that beautiful smile of her's.
