Oh god! Where should i start from. Initially I didn’t know much about simran or how her work is. May be it was destiny i just happened to book her because i am not the person who does things randomly as I need to know how perfect the person is and that was the “ D DAY”. We had some issue of two brides for the same day and similar timings. I can still feel that nervousness about how will i get ready in time. Will she be able to manage it or not, will i even look good or not. Oh boy! I had so many doubts that day. I locked myself in my room for good 3-4 hrs so that my mom doesn’t freak out. I had lost all my hopes honestly. But ..... when she came. She came at 6 to be precise and i was ready by 7:20. Can anyone believe this? Also to top it all i was looking like a diva. This wasn’t just me who felt it every person in the crowd whom i trust and gives honest reviews on my face told the same. Lastly, to all the brides still confused about choosing the best makeup artist for the wedding i can just say that my bidaai was so so emotional i was crying like a baby. The next day when i went to wash my face that was after 11 hrs i guess my makeup was still on point. No smudges, no cracks (just a little on the smile lines whis is OKAY!) i could still do an after party with that makeup. So i have talked enough and will shut now. I had my makeup done from Jessica who is a senior member at Ablaze. I got recommendation for her from Simran herself. If you are paid for x number of occasions - then you complete x number of occasions. I had heard great things about Simran, but when she told me she wasn't available for my wedding but her protege Anjali would fill in, I was initially hesitant. After a few phone calls with Anjali, I felt quite comfortable with her. However, what she did in person was magical. She was just amazing at reading my mind and understanding exactly how I wanted to look. There were times when she gently nudged me in the right direction, for which I am so glad. Between my wedding and my reception, I was so tired that I didn't want to change my look. Anjali insisted on a re-do and I am so glad -- that was my favorite look of all the fabulous ones!
