Planning a wedding is a task and when you have to do it from miles away in a different country it’s even more challenging. Anupa, all your pics seem like you have known the couple for years. Even the kids. I'm sure you do a great job breaking the ice, which is why I came to you! I love your work. No matter how many wedding photographer blogs I see I always come back to yours. I follow a lot of Indian wedding photographers and foreign too and none of them match up to the magic in your photography. Even others who click details don't click them just as well as you do. You can make even the ugliest shoes emote on their own. I have a folder of a few of your images saved. Memories that I would love for you to capture for me when the time comes. When I was looking for a few good wedding pics for my write up, I came across her FB page. I really fell for her work and had to ask her if she could grant me permission to use some pics. Having worked along side Anupa Shah for a wedding, I know the client was extremely happy with her presence as much as the actual photographs taken. She was never in the way, never adrift... always found the right way to capture the moment without anyone knowing she was even in the room. The part where I was amazed was at a common friend's wedding where I was handling the music & sound, and even as a guest, she was able to capture moments far better than the photographer the groom hired so that Anupa could relax and just be a guest. I believe, it's more about how the photographer merges into the crowd and captures a moment than sticking out like a sore thumb. Anupa was our candid photographer for the pre wedding shoot and our wedding reception in mumbai . She was very friendly and warm from the day we met her. The photos she took were beyond gorgeous considering that we were both quite awkward and nervous .The bridal make up shoot and the photos from the reception left me speechless. My lehenga and shoes looked surreal in the photos. She is great with kids and managed to get some awesome shots of my nephew.
