Honestly, we cannot rate Chirmi events team highly enough. The planning and the process my wife and me worked upon for 3 months and the execution was on point. Their attention to detail and showing us the elements and creating samples and designs made everything at ease, that we were not worried about the end day execution. And not just the décor, the guest’s management and the invites design suggestions that Bhumika worked on with us was really appreciated by all the guests and she kept in mind our budgets through out no matter what. We had contacted 2 to 3 wedding planners and decorators, but these guys were the promptest people. When we met Bhumika, we felt so conformable talking to her and her team. They understood our brief and they worked around the budget we gave them, and they were extremely professional. BEST experience ever. Wouldn’t have it any other way. Niharika and her team pulled of a perfectly splendid multi cultural wedding. I’m a Bengali - married a Punjabi. While the wedding was predominantly executed in a Bengali style- there were all kinds of undertones everywhere around us. From the decor, to dholwalas for our baraat to the make up artists they chose for us. Honestly this team was more than a planner for us- they became almost like family. We found them on wedmegood and saw a lot of their work on various platforms and saw how good they were reviewed, so we first thought we wanted just their planning services but having met the team, we understood that they knew what they were doing. We wanted a wedding filled with memories and complete fun and these guys gave us what we wanted. They are super flexible and with back to back calls and constant change of plans they were very accommodating and patient. I got married about a month ago. Bhumika and Niharika had planned my engagement brunch so well and I was extremely happy about it. When my wedding came into the picture, I honestly scouted for different wedding planners and also finalised with somebody else because of a better price range. What started like this, turned into trickery and utter deceive. I came back to Bhumika and Niharika a month before my wedding and they took charge of everything and pulled off 2 events in the best way possible within a price range I finalised on. They respected my budget and my “ambitious” ideas and still pulled it off. They knew exactly what I wanted, understood every possible element and executed it with utmost efficiency. They took it all upon themselves and didn’t trouble me at all about anything. Even though they had events before and right after my wedding, every call I made and every question I asked was answered. Having scouted for wedding planners and decorators for over 6 months, I can say without a doubt that these guys dominate the industry right now. They aren’t just great people and extremely professional, but also have come to become very good friends with my family. I met bhumika & her team through a reference and first hand saw her execute a friend's wedding. and I was to get married in the next two months. Being a last minute & a monsoon wedding Bhumika & her team had the right backup decor & executed it with ease & gave my wedding a perfect thought. Of course there were last minute alterations due to the monsoon but that was just not bought to us and was done with out any hassle. I recently got married and had hired Chirmi Weddings for the same. I had the most disappointing experience with this wedding planner and the décor left me in tears. I’m writing down a detailed review below, as I strongly believe that - for every bride, this is possibly the most important day of her life – and I wouldn’t want any other bride to have an unpleasant experience similar to what I did. I have tried to attach images of what was promised versus what was delivered. Happy to share the entire presentation and spreadsheet that the vendor gave to me along with wedding pictures if you DM me. I’m happy to share in person the good and the disappointing aspects of this vendor. Also, I recommend you do not go by my word only, but also speak to all my other vendors, whose contact information I can share, such as the tent house folks, caterers at all events and the resort owner who were astonished about my choice of wedding decorator/planner. 1. Possibly the most disappointing moment of the wedding was when my “Phoolon Ka Chadar” did not turn up right before I could walk down the aisle. I’m standing there, with my 4 brothers waiting to walk me to the mantap and Bhumika had no answer for why the phoolon ka chadar was absent, “despite”, me constantly emphasizing in every single meeting that this is very special and emotional to me. Also attached is an image of what was promised from her presentation deck. – forget providing something elaborate, there was no chadar at all! 2. At the cocktail, we had asked for cold pyrotechnics (5 of our friends on each side). For one, the pyrotechnics didn’t go off - Bhumika was standing right there and clueless while her staff was scrambling what to do. Secondly, when one or two pyro did go off, it burnt my fiancé and I because it wasn’t really cold pyro but was normal fireworks, which she expected us to walk under. To this she said – our friends didn’t know how to use them and stood too close – well how about telling them what to do since none of them are really experts?? She claimed that when her staff used them they went off accurately – the truth is they were still hot and burning, my fiancé and I had to ask them to move away from us. 3. Attached is a picture of what was promised in terms of food counters at the cocktail versus what was delivered. 4. Attached is a picture of what was promised for the main wedding mantap. We were expecting an elaborate décor with lotus, where the vendor had said she would use at least 3000 lotus. But when we later reached out to the florist about what went wrong, he informed us that she had only ordered 600 lotus from me. I have a audio recording of the same conversation. Also, if you see the picture attached, the main chandelier in the mantap does not even have lotus entirely in the tips!!! I have highlighted the same. 5. For the muhurtam, I had clearly discussed that I want all the tiffany chairs to have draping around them and with an elegant bunch of flowers – what I received was every “alternate” chair having draping with no flowers. Attached is the image. When I asked the her at the venue about the chairs not having the flowers, I was told that “when your guests sat on the chairs, the flowers fell off” – assuming that alllll my 200 guests sat on chairs and made the flowers fall off (bizzare), why weren’t the fallen flowers on the ground? 6. Also, after a disappointing wedding and cocktail, we clearly didn’t get reasonable answers about what went wrong with the event. For instance, when asked “why the food counters did not have enough orchids?” – we were told it was too windy and they flew off! So we decided to not go ahead with the same vendor for a reception which was going to be held two days later. So on the morning of the day after my wedding, I was anxiously working to find a new vendor instead of feeling happy and relaxed. Thankfully we were able to get someone to work on our reception event in such short notice. My advice: I somewhere feel that it was a huge mistake on my part picking this vendor. So here are some tips from me on how you shouldn’t make the mistakes I did (most of these things are stuff I didn’t keep in mind): 1. Please take time out to verify the number of weddings, their scale that your vendor has organized in the past. Make sure you take time out to speak with at least 5-6 brides/families whose weddings have been organized by the particular vendor to get their reviews. 2. Please take time out to meet the entire production team of the vendor. This was a huge mistake on my part. I do know of other established vendors in Bangalore who have production teams of the size of 12-15 people at least. However, here I only met Bhumika throughout. Although, I suddenly had Niharika (her partner) turn up on the day of the events – who I had no contact/call/interaction with ever earlier. 3. Keep all conversations with the vendor on email and avoid whatsapp. Especially when she wants to send you presentation decks on whatsapp. Also, she’s going to try to rush you into approving her decks, but take your time – read through every single line, every single flower. 4. Ensure the costing sheet is emailed to you instead of having it on drive and being deleted by the vendor later. Thankfully for me, I made a copy and downloaded the same before it was deleted. 5. Also, be wary of the amount of money you pay in advance. Thankfully for me, I had not paid the amount entirely and have held it off. However, I still don’t think the work that was done was worth the money I have already paid.

Bhumika organised a lovely 60th birthday party for my dear father, earlier this year. The event was a private gathering of close friends and family at our farmhouse outside Bangalore. She took care of everything from the decor to the catering, even down to the invites and the return gifts. She is very well organised and has a good aesthetic sense that helped create the best experience me and my family could have hoped for. And for a change I could participate and be a part of my family's celebration, instead of running around getting things together. I definitely recommend Chirmi and Bhumika as an event organiser and have faith in her to take care of any future events of ours.

Bhumika was truly amazing, she thought of things I never would have planned. Our Engagement was an indoor ceremony in Ganjam Mantap and Bhumika was very well aware of the venue. She was on top of everything, from contracts to budgets to dates. I can't imagine what my engagement would have been like without her. The best thing is that Bhumika is warm and open-minded. Chirmi Weddings was absolutely great! They helped me plan my sister's wedding. Everyone raved about the photo-booth. They had fun props and were very professional and accommodating to our guests. The lights were stunning for the venue and I have to say it was the best that we could think of. Chandeliers, drapes, flowers, lights and everything that we asked for was there. The dcor and the lights added so much warmth and character to our venue and matched to their personality perfectly. Throughout the night, people were complimenting us on them.
