I was at Ensemble when I saw a Dilnaz lehenga in the bridal section hiding in the corner. I knew the style would be perfect for my beach wedding, but I needed a few adjustments with colours. I then decided to contact Dilnaz directly through her Instagram page. Looking through that only I was convinced that she was going to be my designer. When I met her, it sealed my decision. She is so professional and creative, exactly what I was looking for for my wedding lehenga. We came up with the colours and embroidery together, did a few trials of existing lehenga styles, took measurements and that was it. Being a designer myself, I'm very used to beautiful embroidery, value for money, impeccable construction and timely delivery. Dilnaz did all that and more. I was floored with her embroidery swatches in our first meeting, she got my desired aesthetic immediately. She was so good that when my other designer for the Beach Carnival event flaked last minute, Dilnaz immediately came to the rescue and did that outfit for me as well on very short notice. She even helped me with the looks for hair, makeup and accessories for both events. I was thrilled to see some of the finishing details. My outfits felt light and unencumbered. They were packed so well that I was able to take them to Mauritius without any tension. I'm so glad I discovered Dilnaz by chance and didn't go with the boring, stupidly expensive Sabya-Tarun-Manish crap floating around. Dilnaz's stuff is fresh, unique and fully customisable without the hassle of snooty sales staff (haha).

Dilnaz is an amazing person, inside and out. When I went for my first consultation, I knew from the moment she started drawing a design of the dress I had wanted, that she is a very confident individual and takes her business seriously. She knew exactly what I wanted from my descriptions and was able to design a breathtakingly beautiful dress for me. I am so happy with the outcome as she truly took the time to create this piece which is one of a kind and unique. She is a true gem and it is not very easy to come across someone like her in the this field, however, she's amazing at what she does!! :)

When my brother announced he was getting married I almost instantaneously decided to go to Dilnaz for my outfits. One of best qualities of Dilnaz is the importance she gives to detail. We went through numerous colour palates and fabrics before deciding on what suited my body type, skin tone and personality best. She was extremely patient and very open to suggestions. She ran me through every step of the process and helped me design my entire look keeping in mind the venue, crowd and weather, details we often forget to consider while picking something out. As a result I had 3 wonderful outfits, each unique in their own way. The best part of her outfit for me was the fit. Her clothes fit like a glove and although heavily embroidered were very light. I have a curvy body type and so I've always struggled to get a good fit. Dilnaz was able to give me a perfect fit without making the outfit uncomfortable or too loose. The entire experience was truly wonderful and unique. The personal touch Dilnaz induces in her work is irreplaceable. She made an effort to first get to know me and my personality and then create something that truly reflects who I am. It's a quality that's hard to come by and result is perfection!

With Indian weddings being the most hyped & elaborate affair, one surely understands the big deal behind having the perfect dress! Likewise, for me I have been dreaming of my wedding dress since a little girl and I knew exactly how I would want the outfit to look & feel. However, finding someone who can exactly understand and carve out the same look with the same emotion that I had all these years for my most special dress was difficult. As one would imagine, one of the most important elements in an Indian wedding is the different attires that the couple sport during the various functions. To a bride and groom, this is probably the most important of them all. We were faced with this situation in December of 2014 and I think that our decision to go with Dilnaz as our designer was one of our best calls we made during our wedding. Not only is she a wonderful designer but also an absolutely fabulously and fun person to work with. She knows how to make you feel very comfortable and actually listens and works with the idea which you have, qualities that very few designers out there possess. Her eye for detail is impeccable and the quality of her product is second to none. We were so impressed with her work that almost our entire family, and a couple of friends, had their outfits designed by her. The reception dress which she made for both of us was not only one of the most gorgeous outfits we?ve ever seen, but felt more worthy of being a piece of art which one would frame and put up for the ages.
