Event Gurus

My experience with Event Gurus was an utter catastrophe. The struggle to communicate with them was relentless, with messages going unanswered for days and arranging calls proving nearly impossible. This lack of responsiveness turned the task of organizing our event, particularly from a distance, into a veritable nightmare. Despite their assurances, it became painfully clear that they were overwhelmed and unable to uphold their commitments. Their plans were littered with errors, resulting in numerous headaches throughout the planning process. In essence, our experience with Event Gurus left us utterly disheartened. They failed spectacularly to live up to their commitments, leaving us with a wedding day fraught with disappointment and regret. The most disappointing aspect occurred post-event when we provided feedback to the event organizers; they completely ignored our input, leaving us feeling unheard after a disappointing wedding experience. Event Gurus subpar services left a bitter taste in our mouths, and I strongly caution anyone considering their services to seek out a more dependable and capable event planning team.

Event Gurus have been amazing. From the very first time we spoke to Summit, we could tell that he was experienced in making weddings memorable- he had the experience that we needed and, the most important thing was that he listened to the kind of wedding we were looking for. We were demanding clients, always asking for details, 9 months before the actual day, constantly stressing out ( My fiancé and I were not based in India and my parents while being in India - had never managed a task like this before, in India)- but Summit handled us with care and patience- answering our questions and making sure we felt as ease every time we spoke with him. As the day cam closer, we saw Summit and his team take on hundreds of tasks like pros- thinking of little things and details that we hadn’t even thought of. On the wedding itself, the Event Gurus team worked like a well-oiled machine- everything went extremely smoothly (if it didn’t, we didn’t know because the team made sure that we aren’t bothered by anything!), the team members were extremely polite and courteous, passionate about customer service and trying to do everything in their power to make the experience special for us and our guests. Our wedding guests complimented us on every little detail that the Event Gurus team helped us put together and Event Gurus gave us and our wedding guests a wedding experience that we will be talking about for years to come. Finally, last but definitely not the least, Summit made every effort to stay within our budget, helping us cut costs and giving us advice at every juncture - without ever compromising on the quality of our experience. We cannot recommend Event Gurus highly enough- our wedding was beyond anything we could have imagined.

Had hired them for my brother's wedding. The team is slow and lacks coordination. If you hire them, expect delayed response. Decor was mediocre. Not happy with the service provided and wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Not worth your money and time.

Very poor service. Low quality work. Re-used many items. Said something but did something else entirely.

This vendor was recommended to us by Hotel Lakend,Udaipur. They were late in finalizing the booking. The service was mediocre. Overall, not very satisfied with them.

I was really scared initially. Everytime my husband and I explained something to them they said ok in minutes. Now, they completely got it or they just did not. Only at the wedding we realised that they indeed got everything! It was a charm working with a young team. Source

Best Wedding Planners you can possibly get not only in Udaipur but for any of your destinations wedding anywhere!!. They are extremely professional and good go-to people. After seeing their work this was very much necessary to put a review about what appreciation was actually to be called out. The wedding which I attended in Labhgarh was truly phenomenal as they manage their work with so much ease and well-planned, we did not have to worry about anything till the team was there. A big thumps-up and a big heart to the "Event Gurus Team".

Event Gurus has been on point with the decoration and management of our 2 day wedding in Udaipur. Sumit Kumawat, founder, was personally involved and extremely responsive. We are based in Mumbai and were very particular with the way we wanted the wedding to be - Sumit was extremely helpful in planning the events (with frequent calls and straightforward responses). We were slightly skeptical whether Mumbai-Udaipur coordination would work, but Sumit and team’s execution was precise and delivered more than promised. Also, special kudos to the designing and logistics team - very patient and helpful with finer details.
