Ramkumar Ramachandran, the man behind Frontal Knots is a self-taught photographer shooting weddings all across India and abroad. he studied visual communication as an under grad and started working while he was doing so. he is based out of Chennai, which is his hometown and he is a sucker for the "filter coffee". he loves to travel, eat and pull an all-nighter watching American television shows. he is a big fan of Hugh Laurie and Matthew Perry and do come up with one or two sarcastic comments every now and then. he stumbled upon wedding photography when he was asked to document a close relative's wedding, for which he is thankful to this day. It has changed his life completely and he loves what he does for a living. Everyday he is learning something about the art of photography and through that, about himself. he says “it has been an incredible journey so far and hope it continues to be so in the coming years.” His clients claim that he is an excellent photographer with the finesse to tell beautiful stories.

We found them to be a professional, creative and very entertaining photographer. The lengths he would go to, to get that perfect shot is a rare find and something that should be commended. Their the work you did for our wedding was just wonderful!!! We cannot thank you enough for all you time and effort into making our special day, one to remember for the rest of our lives. Thank you ever so much!

I started my hunt for wedding photographers almost a year and half before my actual wedding (I know I’m psycho)... and I happened to stumble upon Ram’s page through a mutual friend, Krithika. I don’t have enough nice things to say about Ram; both as a client and friend. For one, he keeps up his promises and second he got some bad ass shots from our big day! So pretty much two thumbs up!

The first thought about wedding photography that me and my husband had was to have someone who actually shot candid instead of choreographing them. We did a lot of search on who could help us out with this, but we always had Frontal Knots as our best option in each aspect of filtering out a photographer. Added to that, Ram is a common friend to both of us. We had a lot of fun shooting pictures! But what I wasn't prepared was for the developed version of them - it was an incredible set of pictures capturing the essence of the occasion perfectly! At one point in time, I even squealed about a picture I don't think I would have been able to see when the moment happened. Extremely diligent about the work and highly professional, I really am glad we chose Frontal Knots to cover the most important event of our life.
