Had ordered my reception lehenga last year in Nov and had asked them to deliver it by June. I did receive the order but the color of the lehenga wasn't the one I had asked for. However, in my experience I wanted some customization done to my lehenga which they noted at the time of taking the order but failed to execute. A let down because they charge a handsome amount for the lehengas. Also, being a fashion designer I have some know how on lehengas, but the salesman really annoyed me when I wanted a slight ‘train’ on my skirt - he was almost rude to an extent! My suggestion: if your budget allows, go to the designer of your dreams. If not, this place does some good stuff.

After searching the entire Chandi Chowk we went to Frontier's store and had no expectations, but to our amaze they had some really good options to choose from. My daughter purchased her wedding lehenga from here and the delivery was done on time, also the fitting was as we desired.

If only I read the reviews here before.. I placed order for my reception outfit in August and my reception was in Nov.. I ended up liking a gown that was on sale for 30k. However, since I wanted to add trail to it and get a fresh piece made, they charged me 1 lac for it. To my dismay, the final piece I received was torn and the finishing was so bad. The floor manager told me that 'Frontier Raas' does finishing after the first trial is done. I gave them another week but no luck. The piece looked old. The store people tried to convince me that they have made a new piece. I asked them to get the old one in front of me as they claimed it was still in store. But ofcourse that was bullshit ! When i asked the floor manager that the net in the sleeve is torn , she actually told me to just hide it and that it won't be visible. Excuse me! I paid 3x more than the original price NOT to wear a torn piece on my D-DAY! I ended up canceling the order 8 days before my reception! Super stressful and bad experience. Should have rather got the 4th outfit also from one of Sabya or Manish instead of so much last minute stress. Brides-to be - I highly recommend not going to this place. It was my first and last time @Frontier Raas.

They have one of the better collections in Delhi for bridal wear but I wouldnt recommend going to this place AT ALL! I made a trip to India especially to get my clothes before the wedding..and bought two of my lehengas from Frontier Raas. A night before delivery date, floor manager, Suruchi called me to tell me that the lehenga is not ready and she needs a week...with them knowing that my wedding was in a week!!!!! This started 4 days of visiting the south ex store everyday with not a single person with knowledge of actually status of my lehenga - one day the blouse wasnt ready, another day it was fully ready and third day duppatta wasnt ready. Not a single person felt responsible to tell me what was happening..from sales guy, to floor manager to the owners (I spoke to the nephew, Tushar, his aunt and uncle, Sunil who are the owners). Finally, when I did get to see the picture of lehenga from their workshop, the work and top border was botched! Blouses did not fit. Duppatta color of second lehenga did not match and I had to take the sample piece over a new one!!! After 10-12 visits, friends and family stressed out, I got my lehengas 2 days before my functions started!!! And I picked up my jewelry using sample pieces.. This with the owner, Sunil shouting at us in his store final day...forget him giving discount for this trouble! May be my fault in telling them my actual wedding date vs. lying them about it to be 4 weeks before actual date so I could have some buffer!!!! I ordered my bridal lengha from Frontier raas at south ex after exploring the entire delhi market. I found the perfect color in one lengha and liked the work in another. After trying it on with the jewellery I decided to have it customized by having some parts of one lengha with the blouse of the other. I was extremely nervous for the outcome. I was in touch with the Attendent Naresh and he promised me a swatch of the lengha with the embroidery which he sent to me as promised. When I went to collect it I was still a bit nervous but as soon as I tried it on it had the perfect fitting and looked gorgeous. Minor alterations were fixed immediately and I got the lengha. The staff is amazing and delivers what is promised. It's not like other places in delhi where they promise something and make something else along with rude staff. Overall I'm very happy with the outcome can't wait to wear my lengha and would recommended it to everyone.

I picked up my engagement lehenga from this place. Friendly and patient staff, they helped me pick just what I wanted. Most of their lehengas are very heavily embellished bridal wear, but I did end up getting an aquamarine blue piece - nothing too heavy and perfect for the engagement. The only hiccup was something with the blouse design: initially they didn't do it the way I wanted it. But they fixed it after the trials. We also ended up buying one of my mom's sarees for the wedding functions. Great collection!

I was travelling to Delhi every month for my bridal shopping and even with a tight timeline they made sure that everything was done perfectly. Worst experience of my wedding shopping. I went to frontier in chandigarh to buy my wedding lehnga. I fell in love with a design and had it ordered. Since I am from Toronto, I could not go back to try the outfit on before making the final payment. I got my wedding lehnga and after trying it on...it is awful! I cannot even sit in it. When we called the manager, they blamed it on me...for not informing them that I would be sitting in it...umm what? Since the payment has already been made, they don't care about making amends. Please avoid using them if you cannot try your outfit on before making the final payment.

They have a great collection and this can be a one stop shop for Brides looking for outfits for multiple occasions in a short time. I made a one week trip to India from US to find my bridal outfit and the vast collection here made it easier for me. I found a lovely Engagement Gown here and it looked perfect for the occasion. However, there were issues with their delivery dates as they did not deliver my outfit on the due date. We even called a couple of hours before visiting and we were told the gown is ready but it wasn't and we had to visit again the next day. So that is something to be kept in mind if you are short of time.

The hunt for the perfect cocktail gown and bridal lehenga ended here after searching everywhere. They customised the gown and lehenga as per my preference and the end result was simply WOW!!

They have a variety of lengaas. Some seem reasonable while others are overpriced. However if you lack time and have one store to go to, this might be the one!

Frontier Bazar, Karol Bagh?. they completely screwed up my lehenga? the sample they had shown me (which I had instantly fallen in love with)?the end product I received for trial was nowhere near as good as that. This despite the fact that they took 2 months, despite the fact that they are a very well known brand, and despite the fact that I didn?t compromise at all from my side on the budget?They showed me a lehenga I fell in love with and asked for a lakh for it and I paid them 50 k advance in April to make my lehenga. They could not, rather DID not replicate their own sample perfectly !! <p>I remember my mom coming to this store since I was barely 5 .. In fact my entire Delhi family has been purchasing sarees and outfits from Frontier Raas since before I was born. We usually bring all our out of town friends there as well as the quality has always been amazing. Unfortunately one friend had a bad experience as the blouse ran colour and when given to the dry cleaners the entire saree border bled into the off white area turning it light pink with patches. It was bad enough that the sales men were aggressively accusatory, but they were refusing to even talk about the idea of helping us come up with a solution. The cherry on top of this terrible experience was that when my mother began to speak to the owner, he snapped "get to the point"- regardless, she got to the point and once again was cut off and told that he'd be "doing us a favour" and shortly after he had the cheek to dismiss us And told his salesmen to pack up the saree and give it back to us. He then stormed off while my grandmother was trying to speak to him. Perhaps Mr Johnny Batra has forgotten that Frontier Raas is celebrating its 60th anniversary because of it's customers and clients loyal business- no matter how big or small. In fact I would recommend that he go back and learn how to speak to women and not to walk away from elders when they are speaking to you. I'm sorry to say that I will never be visiting this store again.</p>

<p>I had my heart set on a timelesselegant antique raw silk lengha in my traditional Rajputwedding colours; orange and green. Having accepted I would need to customize I picked the design I loved and the colours from different outfits and my order was placed at Frontier Raas in Delhi .I was told the outfit would be ready in 6 weeks and left with a big smile on my face.</p> <p>But 6 weeks went and countless failed attempts to contact the store and speak to manager. Eventually the floor manager responded stating the outfit would be ready in 2 months time. Obviously I was not happy as this left me with very little time to purchase and match my accessories, but I had no choice but to accept this. I requested the colour samples once again which fell upon deaf ears.Out of desperation I contacted Rishabhfrom Candid Tales (our photographer) to see if he could go to the store and get some answers as I had no family or friends in Delhi. To my shock Rishabh found the lengha had been made. Poor quality photos were sent from the factory, which showed the outfit was not made in the colour I had chosen and the blouse design was completely wrong.With tears in my eyes, being 1000?s of miles away and constantly ignoredI didn?t know what to do. <p>We had a very bad experience at the store recently...we had gone to Delhi for the trousseau shopping of my daughter...we bought a few heavy suits in Frontier Raas which needed some alteration...we were given guarantee by the staff that the suits would be ready for collection on the given date...this was of paramount importance to us as we had a flight to catch the next morning...in fact we had originally kept aside a suit which needed more alterations as we were not sure of getting it back in time... On the given date we found that the particular suit was not ready and after being made to wait for two hours, the fitting turned out to be horrendous and the whole look of the dress had been changed. When we complained about this the manager started shouting at us saying that we had altered his dress...he didn&#39;t have any problem with us getting the other dresses altered...he tried to pin the blame on us for his staff&#39;s incompetence...this was a very stressful experience for us at the end of our trip and we were forced to buy that dress by the manager which cost us Rs 20,000+ after sale price...If alterations are not allowed (which is not the case as all stores do that) then the staff should know better and the store policy should be displayed for all to see...Needless to say we are not going back to that store again...I am very happy that we did not order the bridal lehenga from them as we were looking for one else that would have been another nightmare for us to deal with...the Manager&#39;s rudeness is still haunting us...</p>

After seein g lehenga after lehenga of the same design- panels, ambis etc I had almost given up and was ready to settle till this one piece with floral gara work was bought out. It was originally for 1.2 lakh but with a discount running of 10 percent I got it for about 1 . I love it to bits and I have to say the finishing is much much nicer than the other stores I went to. I went to raas after reading about it in multiple blogs, and even though the pieces are nice, the prices are exorbitant!!!!! Finding a replica lehenga for 1.8 lakh doesnt serve a purpose to me honestly. Nice staff though, wish they were more reasonable
