Gaatha

I am hugely disappointed with Gaatha. Their negligence towards my engagement spoilt the whole photography. For a long time, I have been thinking of writing a review as I was recently going through my engagement pictures. We approached Gaatha by seeing their photography on Instagram. The pictures they have uploaded are really impressive. I think the treatment and services they provide are by seeing the client's financial status. They sent only one photographer to cover an entire event. The photographer was asking the guests to hold the light while taking the pictures which is disrespectful. After the event, I asked them to edit the pictures which is also not done properly. TREATING PEOPLE BY THEIR FINANCIAL STATUS AND PROVIDING SERVICES ACCORDINGLY IS SOMETHING THAT SHOULD NOT BE DONE. I'll add pictures for the evidence.

Really glad to have chosen Priyanshu & Raj as our photographers / cinematographers. They made us feel super comfortable and got really great candids as requested!

The entire wedding was shot by someone who’s really close to my heart. Gaurav Hingne is a dear friend since many years now. Him and his business partner Priyanshu Bhargava started a new company called ‘Gaatha’ and they photographed all the functions. They were the most integral part of the wedding team. They were involved in the wedding for more than 6 months. They spent time with our frieand family to get to know them better. Both of them are real magicians. I don’t think anyone from their team missed anything from the wedding. They captured every lil moment. Their eyes and cameras were everywhere. Priyanshu and Gaurav were an absolute treat to work with! Even my camera conscious husband was much at ease around them. They were super involved and became a part of the wedding itself, while still doing their job impeccably. As Pratha, the bride, herself is a photographer, she was very picky about who she picked for photographing her wedding. Well, Team Gaatha won that jackpot and were the official photographers for the wedding. Team Gaatha was briefed to purely take candid shots and they did a good job. Fun, professional and magical. If you are looking for someone to 'take' your wedding pictures 'for' you, there are a bunch of people out there. If however, you want someone to 'create' your wedding pictures 'with' you, gaatha is the team you should contact. Priyanshu's professionalism and clear communication sets him apart from the crowd. He will spend time getting to know you, your story, and your preferences; and then create your pictures to reflect it. We did not want a romantic photoshoot, but instead wanted something that would capture our crazy and simple relationship. Needless to say, Gaatha.co.in delivered. Priyanshu and his team (Komal Khiani, Ershard, Mayura, and Komal Tarte) will not only be your photographers and cinematographers; but they will also be your support system. They understand how overwhelming weddings can be and will be there for you, always with a reassuring smile. Komal and Mayura actually helped me get ready for my wedding; and boy oh boy did I look dapper. Since the beginning, Priyanshu was clear about his expectations and workflow. He informed us of any anticipated challenges and worked really hard to prevent them. Either ways, he made sure that there were no unpleasant surprises on our big day. The thing that makes gaatha stand out is their work ethic and attention to detail. They will deliver what they promised, and when they promised it. In our case, they delivered around 100 pictures within 10 days of the wedding. And this was during the peak Indian wedding season, so it is not a minor feat to deliver such high quality work on such a tight deadline. Needless to say, the photographs were amazing, but that is not what this review is about. Their online portfolio and numerous awards reaffirm their skills as wedding photographers/cinematographers. It is the experience that I wanted to talk about. To quote my partner "And the photographs aren't even the best part, it's the experience we had with you all that I am gonna cherish the most”. PS : if at anytime during your haldi, Priyanshu asks you to step out with him for a while; don’t do it; it’s a trap. Although it’s a really fun trap.

Cannot tell you how amazing these Priyanshu and his team were. They were always smiling... They gave me a lifetime of memories of my wedding! So professional, yet friendly and warm! I cannot find enough words to thank him for bringing my wedding to life with all the memories he got on the photos and videos!

Priyanshu is an amazing photographer to trust for your special day ! I actually loved his work on instagram as well as wedmegood profile from his previous prewed shoot and was exactly looking for similar prewed shoot and he was very friendly, warm & comfortable on our first meet wherein he explained all his work in detail to avoid any confusion later which made things very clear between us from beginning. Our first experience of prewed shoot with Priyanshu and his team was very light and friendly and the pictures came out to be more beautiful, natural than what I and my fiancee expected. The chemistry that we as a couple share was aptly captured by him. Similarly, during our 3 days wedding function of Sangeet, Haldi & Wedding+Reception the entire team of Gaatha was covering all the events very well capturing the entire sequence of events with us as a couple as well as our family members. The candid pictures from all the 3 functions have come put to be so beyond our expectations. However, the thing which pleases you most while working with him is when I wanted certain changes in my wedding picture’s editing, just like a thorough professional Priyanshu obliged to all my requests and made the selected pictures edit as per my expectations. However, the best part of working with Priyanshu was how beautifully the entire event was captured by the cinematic team of Gaatha providing me with Cinematic Trailer(2.50 minutes), Cinematic Highlights (13-14 minutes) & Pre-Wed teaser film. In each of these videos the special moments from our wedding were beautifully highlighted which generally gives a run through all the events of your wedding in short time which gives us enormous joy to look at those videos again and again. The special mention I wish to make here is in our PreWed Teaser film the background music used by Priyanshu & his tram is the original composition from his own friends which is so soothing to hear and adds such a magical touch to your video. Priyanshu covered our entire wedding from the 2nd till 5th day of June 2018 with D day being on the 4th. Even in those days of scorching heat, this guy was as professional and as dedicated as any human can be. He miraculously knew just exactly what we wanted without much of a formal discussion on the subject. He was always present at the right place at the right time to cover all the details that could have been easily missed by anyone else. He has an amazing eye to capture all those moments which bring about the exact essence that a marriage is. Being thrilled is the first of many words we could say to describe our experience with him. He gels easily with the wedding scenario and instantly knows whats needed to be done. Priyanshu provides a perfect nexus of art and photography. He is the real deal and has a long way to go. He is an ace not only on the professional front, but equally easy and chilled out to work with. His genuine interest in what he does, gives you results which are par excellence. Priyanshu Bhargava is a wonderful photographer that we would not hesitate to recommend to any one. My husband and I were initially very worried about our wedding photos and how they'd turn out as we are both not the most comfortable in front of a camera.Until we met Priyanshu.He made us so comfortable and was the most perfect photographer. He managed to capture the perfect amount of staged and candid photos and even included some very funny ones that sum up our relationship perfectly. The only problem we have encountered is trying to choose our favourites, because there are just so many amazing shots.
