I saw ishu's work at my cousin's wedding and without a doubt I decided to go for it at my own wedding. From the day I spoke to her till the wedding she had been super supportive and friendly. Since we were unable to meet due to pandemic situation, she very patiently handled all my queries and concerns on a video call. The makeup that she gave me on my engagement and wedding was just woooww. I never had to tell her what I wanted cz she always comes out with the best you had thought. I had been following Ishu's work long before I decided to get married or was looking for a make-up artist. I would always save the different client looks (as and when I saw them on her instagram page). Simple, natural, understated yet chic makeup looks which enhance one's features are my personal preference and that's where I felt Ishu's and my sensibilities matched a lot. I feel the delight in working with anyone, more so when it concerns your marriage, comes when you do not have to share a long-ass brief of the look you have in mind. When it takes only a discussion over coffee to paint your conceptualised picture in the artist's mind and then safely handover your canvas to him/her. That was my case with Ishu.
