I was debating for a few months, before I put this review up on WedMeGood. The final decision to post it came to me when I was choosing wedding pictures for printing and saw my wedding hair again. Jyotsna's team did makeup and hair for myself, and make up for my sister and mom. Makeup - great, hair - horrible. It was an international wedding, and we came to India only a few days before the wedding day, so we couldn't do any trials with our vendors. Before I landed on Jyotsna's services, I've discussed every aspect of my make up and hair months in advance. I pre-paid for services and shared pictures in advance and was 100% confident that she would bring a hairdresser who was tagged on most of her Instagram posts. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. It seemed like a hairdresser who did my hair, did not get any professional training and was just a back up option for a busy wedding season. I am looking at my hair on our wedding day and can't believe how horrible it looked like. Not only they didn't bother to bring bobby pins that would match my hair colour, but they didn't even hide them when "styling" it. So I ended up with black bobby pins on blonde hair on my wedding day. Hair had to be redone and I did not get what I expected because "my hair is not long and thick enough". I am sure that professionals should not make comments like that, they should do their best and deliver what is expected from them. The only reason why I did not get into an argument is because I did not want to ruin everyone's mood on that day. Mine and my sister's make up was really good and lasted until end of the night, mom's make up could've been better - makeup for women 50+ requires a different skill set. I was second out of 3 or 4 clients that day and it felt like everything was getting done in a huge rush. I did not get to take 30 min for a photoshoot before draping because the draper had to go somewhere else. I still regret that I did not insist on discussed schedule. Advice to vendor: pick better staff for your team Advice for future customers: do trials and confirm every single person of the team

My sister (the bride) and I could not have had a better experience! Jyotsna’s work is brilliant - I can say for myself that she truly made me feel like a princess on the day of my sister’s wedding. I have never had my makeup so beautifully done before, and I have had it done plenty of times in the past to know the difference. She is so focused and true to her talent. Was able to manage the shortage of time and still do a beautiful job. Jyotsna is very kind, professional, and accommodating towards her clients. I highly recommend Jyotsna for your next event. You will not be disappointed. I’m glad that I will no longer need to search for an artist because I honestly feel I have found the best one.

Jyotsna isn't just amazing at what she does but how she understands what the person wants to be on their big day. She has this excellent ability to enhance your features and make you look dreamy but be minimalistic and subtle at the same time. And I couldn't have been happier on both days about the way I looked, which was exactly what I wanted! She is extremely professional but meticulous, I was relaxed because I knew if it was even slight bit haywire, it wasn't good enough for Jyotsna and she would spend as much time needed in getting everything on point! Despite working on my bridal make-up for hours, she gave me the most beautiful bun for the wedding which was classy and neat, more than I expected. When she says her make up is long lasting it really is, for it lasted 12 hours without a single spec moving (visible in all my pictures) all the way till the vidai. I loved Jyotsna because she goes that extra mile, like putting a small double sided tape below your maang tika so that it doesn't wiggle/move even when you're dancing! I believe one of the best decisions I made was having Jyotsna as my MUA for the two crucial days and I really regret not having found her earlier for my engagement! Cant wait to hire her again!

I really feel that my face can be very tricky for makeup artists because a tad bit of extra makeup can ruin my look. Therefore , for my wedding i had gone through some 30 MUA's and had taken trails from them but none could match up to Jyotsna's skills. She understands make up and also the personality of the person she is working on. I was so thrilled to find her online and loved her makeup so much that i made sure that my mom was dressed only by her for my BIG days! She is amazing to work with and makes you all comfortable. The thing i loved about her was how she is open to suggestions and how she understands the requirement and delivers! EVERY SINGLE person at the wedding and other functions absolutely LOVED mine and my mom's make up. And honestly i couldn't have looked any better on the 3 days, it was JUST PERFECT! I really thank her from my heart for making me look so pretty and i am sure i am going to seek her help in the future for any functions i need help with! Keep up the great work!

Have seen Jyotsna's work quite a lot of times now: wedding shoots, engagement, cocktail, wedding function and reception. She values your time and ideas. She has excellent makeup skills. Me or my friends had absolutely no issues with the makeup!!
