I had a makeover by Ramya and her team on 5 occasions. The first was for my reception after the court marriage, on 16.07.2021. This was done by a senior makeup artist. The photos had come out well, but I didn’t like the way I looked. Those who saw me in person said I looked very different and most of them gave a negative feedback about my makeover. I personally didn’t like the makeover much and I didn’t like the way my saree was draped either. But this session gave me an idea of how I want to look so the rest of the makeovers turned out better than this one. The next was for the Vratham (02.09.21) that took place right before the traditional wedding. This was also done by a senior makeup artist. I insisted that the makeup be kept to the bare minimum. I felt comfortable and beautiful at the end of the session and that was my family’s opinion too. But a lot of them did add that I look better without makeup! This could be because I don’t normally wear any. On the next three occasions, Ramya herself did the makeovers. It was for my engagement, wedding and reception.(03.09.21) Ramya and her team always came on time and finished the makeovers in time. I personally liked my reception makeover the best. I really liked the way my saree was draped during my wedding, (both the 6 and the 9 yards) and my reception saree. I didn’t look caked up and ghost like at all. My skin colour was kept the same and they didn’t try and make me look fairer. That’s something I really appreciate! I am not someone who likes putting on makeup and I even avoid the eyeliner. I have never gotten a makeover done with anyone else. So I may not be the best person to compliment or criticise the team. I paid about 1.3 lakhs totally (for all 5 makeovers and trial sessions) But overall , I am satisfied with the experience and happy with the photographs.

Ramya did my makeup and my mother's for our Bangalore reception. I cannot begin to tell you how many compliments I received! We got make up done for my sister, mother and me, the bride. There was 3 saree changes along with a 9 yard saree draping. Ramya's team was great. Very easy to work with. Very accommodating. We did full face trials to see what works and what didn’t. The make up was minimal, simple and elegant. My make up stayed all day long, with no problem. And went away with a really simple makeup remover wipe and face wash. It was so light on my face, I loved it. They are so careful with the complexion of the person also, there’s no whitening or colour lightening with the make up. You won’t look any different. And that stood out for me simply because I tried so many other artists and I was at least 2 shades fairer after the make up. It was very important to me that I looked natural and still beautiful and they did just that. My mother's and sister's make up was equally great as well. Would 10/10 recommend them to anyone. Was following from a long time with a lot a excitement to book for my big day but the look turned out to be bad when compared to my other events. The hairstyle was pretty bad with too much of hairspray making the loose hair look like a wig , not worth the huge money we pay when the output isn't what we asked for. saree draping was not upto the mark. We expect a bit more attentiveness to the customer needs when we pay more than the normal bridal makeovers. Not all makeover pics make it to the FB page so we never know when some of it turns bad.

From commitment to dedication to understanding the requirement to delivering the exactly what was promised, there was nothing about Makeovers by Ramya that I did not like. Shout out to Bindu who, with her time and patience paid attention to all details and made me a pretty bride on the wedding day. I was bit sceptical about the Alpona design as it was sort of the first time and Bengalis are very particular about it, but she told me that she'll practice, and did a fantastic work up my brows. I booked Ramya for my wedding after having seen her work on some of my friends and following her work on Instagram. I booked a trial session in November for my wedding which was supposed to be in December. But I had to leave the trial mid-way as I received some unfavourable news. The reason I mention this, is because Ramya and her team were so caring and supportive throughout. A few days later, I informed them that the wedding is postponed and the date wasn't certain. And yet, Ramya and her team were completely understanding and not once did they bother me or put me through any kind of stress regarding the booking. This is where she and her team won me over with their humane conduct in times of distress. I reached out to them again to move my booking to February and they took up my request in spite of already being booked on the day, as the timing was favorable. I went for the trial again in February and I was blown over with the time and patience with which the team showed me all the different looks and options I had to choose from. Trust me, I got tired with the options before they did. I do not have much experience with hair and makeup, so I completely put my trust in them and I was not let down. I was told that the same people who did the trial will not necessarily be present for the actual event and I was a little apprehensive about that, specially for the hair-do. But the team that came took one look at my picture from the trial and delivered the exact same hairstyle. They were very receptive to feedback and didn't shy away from changing course based on my inputs. They also arrived on time for every occasion, which was very important for me, since I didn't want to have any stress due to make-up delays. The entire team was very sweet and patient and never spoke in a manner that could cause any kind of emotional strain, which is very important on your big day. Ramya and her team from Shringar Perfect Bridal Artists were absolutely outstanding and receive an A++ from myself and my bridesmaids!! I cannot say enough wonderful things about the results from Makeover by Ramya. Ramya dove right in and created the bridal look that was EXACTLY what I was hoping and praying for! She also remained a very calm and soothing source throughout the application process as well, which I did not realize how important this is! This is my honest opinion,overall my experience with Ramya's team was very stressful and unsatisfactory.. With all the previous review with 5 star rating I agreed to go with you guys...Honestly you are not worthy of that,, Ramay's team showed up an hour late on Muhurtham day.. I repeatedly told them to be on time. They said no no aunty we will be 15 minutes early.I completely trusted them.I asked them to be at the venue at 8:30 they showed up at 9:30..I did my make up on my own...because i wanted them to focus on bride.As you all know how important time is on Muhurtham day..Previous evening they did good job with bride she was quite happy.Around 4 pm it was my turn then they started to rush through with everything.Did my basic makeup.While doing my hair they had already booked uber,They just draped my saree with in 2 minutes.. I could have draped myself.. My hairstyle was pretty basic. Hmmm what can i say sorry ladies i would't recommend your service to my friends or family..

Oh my god! Where do I even begin! I usually don’t write reviews but this just provoked me so much! First of all ramya (the owner) Acts like a complete princess. She does not come out of her room ever to talk to clients. I mean if you’re a service industry shouldn’t you’re main priority be good people skills? Anyway she does not come out and talk to anyone. She is very entitled and makes you feel like a peasant! I have also heard from many of my friends that she will do only what she likes. She will not take your suggestions or Inputs on what you want to look like. I mean shouldn’t the bride have a say in what she wants to look like? And if you have a difference of opinion with her apparently she will not even post your picture on her page after doing your makeup. How petty is that? Although she is good at what she does I chose not to book her after I took the trial because I do not want to support someone who does not listen to customer needs and who is so entitled and petty!! And don’t even get me started on their travel charges which is ridiculously over priced. They all talk like she is some kind of princess. Her husband is the one who talks to clients which I found is so weird. He kept saying oh ramya doesn’t do this ramya doesn’t do that. I was like what does she do then sit around and act petty? I just couldn’t guys. I just don’t want to go there ever again. She only favours rich clients who are ready to take multiple packages apparently!!

The quality of services are not that great as their prices and also they do not have professional ethics and values. They do not stand on their words and really cannot TRUST them. The staff member, POOJA, initially she suggested to take two bridal makeup (for muhurtham and reception) and one non-bridal (for vara-pooja) so that I can afford but later when I went for the trial, she changed her words at the last moment saying that I have to take bridal make-up only for all the events which is costing 20k per session for senior artist. How can they change their words at the last moment!!! NOT PROFESSIONAL Also, their studio TIMINGS are worst than the bank timings being closed on weekends too. It is very difficult for a working employee to accommodate for these timings unless they take a leave. I wonder whether they run the studio for themselves or for the clients. The main artist Ramya is least bothered even if they loose their clients. Definitely NOT RECOMMENDED for bridal packages.

Ramya’s and her team is the best !! Though I live abroad , communication with Ramya is a breeze ! What I appreciate about her is her patience ! I kept bugging her almost everyday with my Q’s and boy her patience is magical !! I never did a trial I blindly trusted her work and man the compliments I got during the event made me so happy !! Her team is very sweet and patient . Keep up the good work guys !!

For my wedding makeup, I hired the services of Prerna Khuller. I am satisfied with her work. She did a good job and her makeup was praise-worthy. She took about 30-45 minutes for my bridal makeup and just left. Then her assistants did the draping and other things. I thought she would stay the entire time. Also, the hairstyle was pretty but it opened up during the wedding. She must take care of these things. Thanks anyway.

I've had the pleasure of having Ramya do my makeup for my wedding and she did a great job! She listened to me patiently while I explained to her as to how I wanted to have a natural skin tone and then she made few suggestions that I was very happy with. Ramya also had another senior artist (also named Ramya) work with my sister who did exactly the way my sister wanted and she was very impressed. Ramya and her team gave me 3 different looks for the 3 wedding events (Varpooja, Muhurtam and Reception) and I don't think it could get any better. I was a little worried as I reside outside the country and it was hard to follow-up regularly but the trial make-up (just a few days before the wedding) gave me an exact idea as to how I wanted to look on the "Big" day. I would say over all experience with Ramya was not completely satisfactory . I had booked Ramya for reception and senior artist Amitha for Muhurat. I got makeover by Ramya's team for my baby shower as I was very happy and satisfied I got it for my daughter's naming ceremony too. They give u good suggestions and the faculty had geethanjali she is very well experienced and trained. They have good time sense. They come on time and they dress u up also on time. This was a long overdue review! If you are a bride to be I think you should spend a couple of minutes to read this review. Makeup for a bride is self confidence applied directly to the face! It is so important that your makeup artist understands you and help you get that look for that one day of your life that is so very important and memorable. I am not at all a fan of makeup and always wondered how people gave so much prominence to it. I was that kind of a bride who just walked into Ramya's studio saying "I am getting married and want you to do my makeup!" And that's it! I did not have to worry about anything. I had her do my makeup for 7 sessions and she just got better and better each time. She never failed to surprise me! Indian weddings can be really stressful and emotional. If there was one thing that I was not stressed about it was my look for the wedding. The products she uses are brilliant and lasts forever. She gave me 7 different looks every single time which just made me feel like it was my day! She had solutions to all my problems :) She was not only my makeup artist but also a very good friend now! <p>Ramya is really professional and very talented. She was patient, she understood what kind of bridal look I wanted for my big day and adjusted accordingly. She did not push her ideas on me and gave me a fantastic bridal look which got me loads of compliments :) I am so glad I chose her! :)</p>

I had hired Ramya as my makeup artist for my wedding on 14th December 2015 at BWSSB Rajatha Bhavan Kalyana Mantapa , Malleswaram, Bangalore . I should say her makeup was good but I am not at all happy with her attitude. She is very short tempered, feels she is the best in the business. She gives you her rules that you have to follow when she does your makeup but when you have a request for what you need, she frowns. As a bride, I had faced difficulty during trail makeup and also during the wedding regarding her attitude which is quite disturbing and even she is aware of that . The fact that she did not upload my pictures proves that she did not want me to be exposed. About-to-be-brides , please be careful. After paying so much amount to her for a single session makeup, if you are not going to be satisfied then it is not worth going for her. Better settle with a makeup artist who makes you comfortable and who has patience to listen to your specifications and work according to it.

She is up to date on the latest trends and therefore gives her brides new looks and more importantly a different and yet an appealing look for every different event. She spends time researching on the best hair styles to go with different face structures. When at work, she is patient and helps the bride keep calm in the midst of all the hustle bustle. For all those of you who have a difficult time tying that perfect sarree, she is the right person. She drapes sarrees in less that 10 mins and is perfectly tied and remains in place for the whole day. I had a great experience working with her. She gave me 7 different looks for 7 different events.
