I want to give 0 stars but there is no option. G Venkatesh is one of the worst makeup artist you will ever find. I am from Andhra and I hired him through Facebook as I live abroad. He didnt even show up to my wedding rather he sent his two juniors. The male(absolutely ride and arrogant) was making faces throught. The female was a lot patient. Here comes the worst part - my Muhurtam was around 4am. I told venkatesh before hiring and paid him the amount respectively apart from providing food and accomodation to his team. For my second saree, when I come upstairs to my room, what do I discover - their team had a train and they "LEFT WITHOUT INFORMING". The bride doesnt even have a say to what lipstick has to be applied. They applied a light lipstick which was absolutely not visible to the cameras and had to use photoshop later for my wedding pics. As a bride, should I worry about makeup, change of saree at that moment? Is that really fair to any bride? I paid you in DOLLARS VENKATESH! Why havent you shown up to my wedding as promosed to do my makeup? Why is your team so unprofessional? Are you nice only to celebrities? Why arent you nice to common people who still pay you the same amount? DO NOT TRUST THIS UNPROFFESIONAL MAN! Shame on you and your ethics!!!! No bride has to go through this ever! Worst and unprofessional man you are! Dare you use my review as FAKE REVIEW!

Mr Venkatesh did bridal makeup for my sister 9 years ago, I got to know him through her. We didn't do any bridal test and trusted his work blindly. He and his team did an amazing job in transforming me into a beautiful bride which everyone loved and appreciated. I highly recommend his team for every function.

I am rating 1 as there is no option to rate 0. Why this person is pathetic is because he is completely money minded. He keeps talking praises about himself throughout while not considering what the other person feels. During my marriage he created a lot of mess. He made us buy expensive contacts which he promised he would get and stole it and didn’t even regret . He came in at the first thing he ever asked was to get him a big room and he was pestering me just for the room . He is a selfish man he is not an artist . He is pathetic as hell. Money minded. Doesn’t know how to speak to people. He kept asking for money right in marriage. Such a horrible human being. Totally unprofessional. I would never recommend this pathetic . Insane guy to anyone. He needs to be treated real nice. He has no civic sense. He just took advantage of me and my family being nice to him. All he wanted was to loot my family knowing that we were ready to spend money . This guy doesn’t deserve to be in this kind of a business. He should be ashamed of himself. Also he forces people to give positive feedback about him. Very disappointed with his behaviour. Hope this helps him to realise what kind of unprofessional person he is.

Through a close friend I got Mr Venkatesh contact , it was easy and comfortable dealing with him , we had no trial but trusted him completely and he did a wonderful work ,so happy with his work

I booked Venkatesh uncle for reception and wedding makeup through my friend's reference. I trusted him blindly without having trial. He understands the client requirements and the outcome is flawless. One fine quality with him I observed is, his experience dominates the quality and speed makeup. I gave him very minimal time and I got stressed of time pressure. But he promised that he could complete on time and made it. The lady assistant was also very helpful in saree draping and neat finishing. she dint use any flat iron for fleets, I doubted of the outcome.. She made it perfect fleet draping. Brides, make your first choice as him.

I did not know any whereabouts about any makeup artists in chennai at that time because i was overseas and i belong from kerala. Very good makeup artist.. I had him for my engagement, wedding, reception, post wedding get together, baby shower and now for my baby's first birthday.. He does a great job.. His makeup is too natural and suits everyone.. And for the hair style he doesn't use much hair spray which makes ur hair style and hair look more natural. I was very choosy about every single aspect of my wedding and when I had to choose my makeup artist, Venkatesh was the first name I heard from my fiance and relatives. I went for a very early trial(just the make up part) and I must say that he won my confidence right there. I understood why people gave him such high recommendations. I booked him for my wedding and 2 receptions immediately. After my costumes were finalized, he was kind enough to do a hair trial and man, I was wowed at how patient someone could be. He did at least 10 different hairstyles as a part of the trial and the best part is he did not even charge me. Well coming to his work on the occasion, I just loved it. Everything was so smooth. No wake up call was needed and he was on time even before me. I was ready almost an hour before all my functions and he even kept changing my hairstyles so that I could look different for my photoshoots. He had a great rapport with my photographers too. Makeup was so natural and he highlighted my features very well. When most people make saree draping a disaster, his assistant was such a doll. She draped my saree so well. I have never felt so comfortable in a saree before. I had to wear my wedding saree for a whole day, n believe me, it didnt need any adjustment till the end. She understands the client's body type and drapes the saree accordingly. If your looking for loads of patience, experience, elegant makeup, varieties of trendy hairstyles accompanied by perfect saree draping, then Venkatesh is the guy you should go for.

Amazing Makeup artist. I hired him for my engagement, wedding and wedding reception. He did a great job at hairstyling, contouring my face and beautiful work to brighten up my eyes. All the pictures came out brilliantly. I was extremely happy with his professional behavior as well.
