I had 2 weddings - Christian and Hindu and I booked Sakshi for both the events. Sakshi gave me 2 completely different looks for both the events and I felt nothing short of a princess. I was most worried about the Church wedding look as not a lot of Christian weddings take place in Delhi and many MUAs didn't have experience of dolling up a Christian bride. However, the Church wedding look was subtle (how I wanted and communicated to her) and still very glam. The makeup didn't budge for 12 hours straight! I received a lot of compliments for the look! I hired her for my wedding and engagement. Since it was a sikh wedding, I wanted someone who can come to venue. No makeup salon was ready to do it in my budget. I got the idea of hiring a freelancer but wasnt sure if it was right to do so. She cleared all my queries. She did my engagement makeup along with my sister?s and my friend?s. Everyone was like oh she?s looking like a doll. The most important thing she kept in mind was not to transform me into someone else. She did a subtle and only needed makeup. There are very MUA's around that believe in enhancing what's already there , instead of masking it . Sakshi certainly makes the list. You won't find her clients suddenly "lighter" than their natural complexion or with unreal looking cheek bones produced as a result of extreme highlighting and dramatic contouring. But rest assured , you will get up from her chair looking absolutely stunning.The base will be flawless and the eyes , a vision . Exactly what I wanted for a recent event I had to attend. I would love for her to "make-me-up" again :)

Wish the work was half as good as the edited pictures. Cakey, extremely patchy, oily and dull base despite several reminders of a natural look, which started coming off within an hour. The falsies came out as well in the mid of function. Got an hour late for the event as the vendor did not reach the venue on time. discovered hidden cost of Rs 1500 as travelling charges within Delhi which wasn't revealed in prior communication. A highly dissatisfactory and unprofessional sight. Hoped for transparent dealing and refined professional work. Wish could be undone.

This review was due for so long. Saakshi did my makeup for my engagement and wedding and it couldn't have been better. I had hired her just by looking at her portfolio. Most of the brides in her portfolio looked so natural and yet flawless. However, Saakshi could read that I am clueless about what I want, all I wanted was to look good and she took the charge from there. I am glad I trusted her.
