Going with Maritus was the best decision we made when we were organizing our twin sons' weddings, which were a day apart. We had to do most of our meetings via calls or zoom meetings as we were out of the coutry. Team Maritus made my engagement day a fairytale thanks to their dreamy decor and flawless execution. Right from the enquiry we did with Ms. Lekshmi and Mr. Sijas they were very cordial. My engagement function was planned by Mr. Sijas and Ms. Meghana. They listened to every one of my suggestions and quite literally brought it to life. Mr. Sijas brought in some of the best ideas for the decor. From the colour combination on stage to the tiny details on the round table, everything was perfect. Doing all these things smoothly considering this situation is a challenge in itself, but they did it so beautifully and for that they have my heart. My sisters wedding was organised by maritus on june 4th and interesting part was they planned the entire wedding in a flower garden theme at a synthetic turf in Cochin. Maritus has been a great help while planning the wedding for my sister. Lekshmi from maritus, who was there through this journey of planning and making sure all my sisters dreams come true.. Lekshmi was a great helping hand and ofcourse a good pal to talk to... Maritus is your answer to all the wedding preparation needs. Our wedding was a difficult one to plan and manage as there were three events across three cities and a large number of people attending locally as well as quite around 30 guests flying in from abroad. To top this all off, my husband and I were based in the UK so it was really important to us that we were working with an events planner that we could trust. We spoke to a few companies but Maritus was by far the best in terms of their approach, professionalism, responsiveness and communication - all of which are all the more important when planning a wedding from abroad. In particular, I have to say the decor that Maritus arranges is of the highest standard. After all of our functions, we had friends and family come to ask us who did the decor. Maritus did a marvelous job in creating the perfect ambiance for my son’s wedding reception. The church, stage, hall, entrance and the house lighting were beautifully decorated. My son’s wedding came up quite unexpectedly and as it was the first wedding in the family, we were quiet lost and did not know where to start from especially as we lived in Dubai. We had only 5 months left to the wedding. That’s when our friends recommended Maritus wedding planners to us. A lot of research went in before we decided to go ahead with this team and we are happy that we did so. Ms.Lakshmi and her boss Mr. Sijas were the first members of the team who met us in Kerala. After that, everything went beautifully and at a very quick pace. They handled everything from the Church decor, Grooms decorated car, House lighting, reception hall decor and the entire reception event. I was very happy with how they kept us posted about all the details of the ceremony. A time line was shared with us by Lakshmi which gave us all the details of the entire day. This was followed by a presentation giving us the actual 3D digital description of the stage decor, Groom’s car, the couple garlands, table decor, hallway decor etc. She was very happily accommodating of any changes we suggested. It was unfortunate that few weeks before the wedding, Lakshmi had to hand over our event to Ms. Malavika due to personal reasons. Although it worried me a lot, Malavika handled the entire show on the wedding day absolutely perfectly. We also met with the main team in the last week for a run through of the entire event. On the big day, Malavika was constantly in touch with me and reassured me of the days programme. Everything went off as planned and on time.I would like to specially thank her for her personal involvement during the entire event , to the extent of arranging food for the Bride and Groom during their dress change backstage. She even managed to personally feed the Bride as she was getting dressed and time was running out. Everything turned out perfectly on the wedding day, as per our expectations. I started my hunt for a wedding planner about 5 months before my big day. Since I live outside India, my initial correspondence with the shortlisted teams, including Maritus, was entirely online. I managed to meet most of the teams during a short trip to Kerala in January, but not Maritus. Surprisingly, after a lot of discussions, I decided to go with Maritus itself! I was definitely anxious about how everything would turn out since I didn’t even get a chance to meet the team until about two weeks before the wedding. How we started: we emailed a bunch of planners across Kerala for quotes to host a destination wedding with our requirements. and we were looking for someone who we can rely on as myself and my fiance' then weren't from kerala or India.These guys came back with a happy on wallet prices and great ideas. Onto details: Pinterest was definitely their power source, we wanted a small chic and beachy wedding. In simple, An American White wedding in India is what we wanted. Small on guest list, big on personalization. These guys delivered everything right up. Planner: we got our planner (Chitra 😃) who would follow up on all the list of things we need and what is needed. Decoration: Our altar decoration and the entire garden decoration is to die for. A lot of our US friends asked if we got married in US looking at the pictures of decorations, Kudos to decor team on that.I was very particular about light pink pastel colors, be it flowers or draping or lighting or entire decoration. i didn't wanted the bright Indian colors, as my aim was different (An American White wedding in India 🙃 ). Though i was unhappy that they forgot the center table decorations which includes mason jar with floating candles and fresh flowers ... i forgive them because they did many other sweet things which i didn't ask for :) Photography: Next onto the most important thing, Photography!! You wont believe the number of times i told my family that i only care about the photos which i will see years and years to come than the number of ceremonies which will tire me up. So this is priority 1 up my ally. Well the in-house photographers sure didn't disappoint me ! Vivek and Pravin, you guys make me fall in love with my man over and over again when i look at that killer photos every single day. You captured our W-day raw and delivered it polished. They came back from beach got ready and were chilling and waiting for me to be done. Its just crazy, I cant believe an indian wedding can go this calm and happy. But hey, we did it !! A big relief to the host family. The productions team has a good & wide network of vendors. They track the budget vs actual amount spent on a regular basis. Periodic meetings help you to stay updated on the proceedings.

Planning a wedding can be stressful and overwhelming for anyone. A lot of things need to be done, right from calling your wedding photographer to the last ceremony of the day.
