MONKS IN HAPPINESS!!! They resonate happiness!! Ron and Karthik ensured right through the wedding that everything was captured, they came on time, knew what was to be shot and also gave handy tips to what pose would look good. To begin with, they have a splendid app that makes viewing photos so much easier. In this time and age where literally everything is attached to our mobile device, this app allows family members spread across the globe to have timely access to photos, so what that actually did was it still kept the zing on days after the wedding, it kept the family connected.. Felt like a competition to who got to see it first!! Since the wedding was in Delhi, and the locations of the two parties pretty distant, they did a good job of covering both sides by maintaining a big team. The photos are really good, especially the candid ones taken. MY brother (the groom) is no poser at all.. So getting good photos of him was such a blessing for once. While photos are good, what is their definite strength is their trailer and cinematic films. A lot of thought and creativity goes into this, and they did a magnificent job :) thank you team MIH!!

The Monks are true to their name. They brought in lot of experience and enthusiasm into the shoot of my sister's wedding. I had booked them for my sister's wedding after we saw them covering my best friends wedding in Hyderabad. They connect very well not just with the couple, but also with their friends and family. They have a very good understanding of the intricate details of the wedding and true to their name they indeed brought in a lot of happiness for our entire family. Their App is world class! And the photos have now gone viral in the friends and family, courtesy the App. One thing I would like to highlight, their Cinematography is one of the best I have seen. Long review alert: Since WMG doesn't allow 2 separate reviews for one wedding. I'm sharing this consolidated review of me and my wife for monks in happiness. Gitesh (Groom's review) All that glitters is not gold, and we learnt it the hard way! Welcome to Monks in Happiness. Well, I don't know where do I start from. We met Ron & Kartik from MIH through the WMG app before my wedding in March 2019. After deliberate thought & research, we decided to go with Monks in happiness. Although we had a max budget of 1.5 lakhs, we extended it to 2.5 after looking at their work samples and reviews and booked MIH for our wedding's photography. But their service & quality of work came as an utter shock to us. I will try and list down the problems I have had with MIH during my experience with them... 1. Delayed delivery: Right from our pre-wedding photoshoot photos to our final delivery, MIH has a habit of not meeting the delivery date on time. We have spoon fed them with all the changes that were required in all the videos, but still they kept making the same mistakes again and again till the point when the damage was irreparable. 2. Poor editing and post production: Although the team seemed quite hardworking and enthusiastic when the wedding was taking place, the major issues arose when they had to deliver the traditional videos. All our videos had to go through endless editing to cover for the blundrous work that was done during shooting the original event. Unfortunately, we had to accept the videos as they were because the original footage was not taken properly. 3. Technically unsound: You would expect a photographer of this level to not make basic mistakes that even a layman can identify. There are a countless number of times when MIH professionals Ron and Kartik have defied logic and jumped over basic technical nuances of photography. For example, our Sangeet video is a complete mess and required 6 editings because the footsteps of the dance was not captured properly. (Still it's not there, we simply accepted the video as it is) 4. Unsatisfactory final product: Even our final albums after printing had to go through changes and some of the pages had to be re-pasted due to pixelated images in the final album. Videos, as mentioned earlier are not up to the mark. 5. Lack of acceptance of their fault: When their product required countless editing and still they couldn't reverse the blunders that they have made, they resorted to the classic policy of "denial". Classic MIH! Our wedding must be just another sale for MIH but for us it was a lifetime event. We have quite literally spoon fed them with all the information they have required during the project, yet they seem to have failed in delivering a product that's worth 250 grand! We have been nothing but patient for over 4 months with MIH hoping at least the final product would be up to the mark but we had to accept the product as it is since we had no other choice left. ---------------------------------------------------------- Pareena (Bride's review) We chose Monks after seeing the reviews on WEDMEGOOD app. With lot of enthusiasm and hope, we went ahead. No doubt the team worked real hard in the whole wedding shoot (at least it looked like it) and the scene looked quite promising. But..the final outcome showed a completely different picture. The videos were terribly shot and edited. You will find blank spots coming in the middle of the video, dance shots being cut from between and the entire sequencing of event being changed. My husband's entire mehndi function was missing in the 20 min cinematic film, until we got them added later. When we brought these problems to them, they couldn't solve them to our expectations. The anchoring and dance shots during sangeet were still missing at some places, this was purely due to poor videography which could not be rectified in the end. The pictures & album didn't match up to the expectations as well. We had to replace some pages in the final album because few pictures were blur. The thing is that when they are out of logical explanations for their work, all they say is "Ma'am we have done 100 weddings successfully till date, how come you are facing so many problems". This might be like 'just another wedding' for you but we are planning on doing this just ONCE in our lifetime. Maybe we're that unluckiest one out of 100 "perfect" weddings that you've shot. Despite all this, all we wanted was a good final product at the end or at least an acknowledgement of the faults that have been made from their end. But sadly, we didn't get either of them. All the best!

We were very particular about our wedding photographer and were looking for a team that could execute our ideas proficiently. When I came to know that Ron is one of the lead's in the team I had made up my mind instantly. Ron, Kartik and the entire team is exquisite. They understand you so well that later you don't really have to spend a minute on your wedding photos and videos. Ron arranged for a few meetings to discuss our ideas and heard us patiently. He met our families to know them personally and also made them comfortable. They captured all the important details of every event, family members, friends, decor, outfits, moments and two different customs, beautifully.
