An artisanal label based in Toronto, Canada. Homegrown and handcrafted in India, Namaskaya is an e-commerce website that offers express worldwide shipping. Through their label, they channel their support to artisanal livelihoods across the world and the revival and preservation of local crafts. Their attempt is to apply these traditional crafts to create original, unexpected, and timeless designs on products.
They offer a curation of eight collections of handcrafted silk masks with 16th and 17th-century artwork-inspired handcrafted embroidery. The masks also use the technique of Hand Block Printing, using hand-carved wooden blocks. Namaskaya masks feature elastic hoops and exquisite handmade embellished tassels allowing superior grip, which can be styled in a variety of fashionable ways.
Their masks are 3-ply or 4-ply and are lightweight, to emphasize comfort, breathability, and functionality; designed for maximum coverage, keeping one warm during the cool, autumn, or winter temperatures. Silk, which naturally contains antimicrobial, antibacterial, and antiviral properties, has strong hydrophobic power. In addition to its ability to maintain a stable temperature, silk is hypoallergenic. Their Silk scarves are made using one of the ancient and most elegant methods, Block Printing, using hand-carved wooden blocks. Each hand block printed scarf has its unique story to tell.

5 stars might not be enough. These masks are all so beautiful, making having to wear a mask, a treat. Beautifully crafted by hand, by artisans in India. Delivery is so fast, and customer service is friendly and good. I am very impressed with this company. I have purchased three masks so far, and will be purchasing a scarf soon. Barbara, a happy consumer.

If I could give Namaskaya 11/10 stars, I would. I don’t have enough positive things to say about this brand and the entire team. Aside from the masks being literal works of art, the team was so sweet in all their messages, communicated so efficiently and are an amazing brand through and through. The founder Devisha, is also such a great person! I purchased the Kaia mask in color sand beige, and it was even more beautiful in person which I didn’t think was possible. These masks are definitely collectibles, and I will be buying many more to add to my collection. So so glad I came across their Instagram page, because I am in love even with their overall aesthetic.

The pandemic has definitely changed our every day lives. I am not gonna lie about that it was difficult for me to adapt and to start wearing masks outside. But thanks to Namaskaya, I feel beautiful. I feel like Namaskaya has helped me to adapt to this new reality in a fun and creative way. Today I feel like the mask is a part of me, by choice. I feel myself again. And I feel like a mysterious and glamours queen. So, thank you <3 The masks are so unique and luxurious. Every mask has its magic, so it’s difficult to choose! I bought the ”Sage Green”, and it’s a showstopper! Every day someone asks me where I bought it from. On the streets and in stores, strangers tell me how beautiful my mask is. And it really is a masterpiece, on the outside, but on the inside aswell! The people behind Namaskaya are amazing aswell! So kind, helpful, sweet and caring. I’m so happy I found you!

Namaskaya is an amazing brand with stellar customer experience. They were so kind to ensure my satisfaction as a customer, as the mask I bought from them was for my wedding. My ‘Sand Beige’ mask was so beautifully handcrafted and matched the elegance of my wedding dress. The love they make their products with is evident in the details of the fabric and in their kind communication.
