Her sense of skin tone, color, ability to gauge a girl's personality before the wedding day is the first few things that stood out for me. Long Awaited Post! First time I saw Nivritti’s make up was at my friend’s wedding ... And I absolutely loved the simplicity yet the glam behind it.. I watched couple of more on her insta page and I fell in love with it... tbh, I did try exploring more for my engagement make up but I absolutely couldn’t find anyone close to what her work looks like!!! Surreal is my adjective to hers! Coming to the wedding day, I was anyway very sure that she has magic in her hands and she would come up with the best look. I have been meaning to write this review since 10th dec(the D Day)..but I guess marriage makes you lazy. My experience with Nivritti has been nothing less than exceptional. I never expected I could look and feel that pretty. The way she pours in confidence in you would help you get through the day with a smiling face. The effort she takes to make sure you feel special on that day by constantly reminding you how pretty you look and also making you eat when you are too nervous to do so, is like cherry on the cake. Nivritti did My mom’s and my make up for my Pre wedding shoot, Engagement and Wedding. I looked absolutely gorgeous on all the three days. My mom looked soooooo naturally preety and so much younger thanks to Nivritti’s makeup. I had initially done Hair and make up workshop with Nivritti in which she helped me prepare my own make up & Skin care kit. And to my surprise, she created my looks using my products.. I took up the makeup and hair workshop from Nivritti. I was someone who didn?t know anything about makeup and hair, and now I am confident to do my looks by my own and walk out. Super thanks to this sweet lady, who works so hard for her workshops and most importantly she is super friendly and takes care of even the tiniest of things like get you the stuff which you are not able to get, get you food during the workshops, she even gifted me so many things. She documents every little detail that she tells in the workshop just so that you never forget what you learnt then and shares the document with you after the workshops. I found the mall visit so helpful, she makes sure you understand what you need as per your needs and helps you buy stuff for yourself. Now I understand my skin, brushes, different products, how with little changes in the make up and hair, you can change your complete look. OMG I can?t stop raving about her. I am a resident of USA and was visiting India in December, 2015, to attend a wedding. This time I thought of getting something done from Nivritti. Initially I was a bit nervous, but as she continued to work on me, I could tell she knew what she was doing. She has a gift of making her clients comfortable and gaining their trust. My biggest challenge has been my dark circles under my eyes. I have tried taking help from many experts and expensive products, but none worked. You can imagine my joy when Nivritti was able to make them disappear completely with her expert make up techniques. I even landed up doing a makeup workshop with her and learnt how to conceal those dark circles for myself using the correct products this time... She will do d last minute touch up, check out the whole look and only den let you go. When more than work someone's relationship becomes more important to you,you know you have met the right person in your life! In 2014 I was introduced to Nivritti and it does not feel only 2 yrs (5 times in 2 yrs.. Woahhh). She transformed my borderline tomboyish approach to life and introduced me to a very very classy vanity. Natural yet glamorous, her art to transform a person is superb! She makes you comfortable in your own skin while understanding your inhibitions or dislikes to any particular look and giving you a perfect blend of her creativity and what look you are looking for! An amazing talent for her field and an amazing and beautiful person, I am sure I have met a person with whom I can trust myself for years and years to come....

I did a makeup workshop with Nivritti a couple of years ago and I'm really glad I did. She takes you through the whole process in a great way.. And you practice all along. She gives specific guidance on techniques, what would work on your skin and where exactly you can find it, and is always willing to come along too- or even pick things up for you. She sends a detailed summary of the workshop (with pictures from your day) which comes very handy in revising what you learnt at any time! l fondly remember the fun, informative & wonderful day I spent with her on the workshop and if you're looking to learn makeup that would work for you, i'd highly recommend going to Nivritti's!

I chose Nivritti to do my makeup for my wedding and reception, not only because she's listed on myriad google articles as one of the best MUAs in the country (she is btw!) but because she has great energy, very easygoing but professional, and is so patient. She's everything you need in a MUA - she doesn't take much time, is very punctual, will make you look fabulous and feel even better, and has this calming effect on you. Her work on me was beyond my expectations and I am so happy that I chose her for my big day.

Nivritti did an excellent makeup job for me and my mother during my brother's wedding. She patiently heard exactly what i wanted and my all my concerns before starting. The look she gave me was different from the typical one of other makeup artists. Nivritti is extremely talented, and has a positive personality, making you very comfortable during the entire session. Nivriti is amazing! She was so professional (even under the unusual circumstances that I got married in!). I wanted a simple, natural look and that is exactly what she gave me. I also really appreciated how she explained everything she was doing and walked me through the process of my look. Nivritti was recommended to me by my wedding photographer and I?m so happy she was available for my wedding and reception! She is so amazing! I have had a brilliant experience with Nivritti... let me tell you, even with the kind of expertise and clients that she has, she has no hang-ups whatsoever.... she will be very friendly towards you and this is a big advantage for brides as we are already facing so much pressure/stress during those celebration days. Nivritti always makes sure you are comfortable and in good spirits. She made it a point to see my outfit and discuss the kind of look I would like to go well in advance. She made some pretty cool suggestions and is absolutely wired into the ongoing trends in make-up/fashion. She even clicked some very pretty pictures of me :) I have lost count of how many people I have recommended her to. PS: we take these things for granted but I have had experience with really popular and famous make-up artists/studios where I ended up looking too flashy/caked/plastic etc. The look that Nivritti gave me for my reception dinner was not "over the tops" kind and made me look and feel gorgeous! I received so much praise and the photographs turned out AWESOME :) I honestly cannot wait for more occasions and weddings when I can book her for a great look.

Like most Indians, my notion of wearing makeup was coloured by what one sees around - blotches passing off as blusher, foundation more than a few shades lighter cakes. None of that for me I ever I thought. Enter Nivrittti Chandra who dispelled those misconceptions and cleared the smokescreen of wearing make up to highlight your strengths and cover your flaws in the subtlest way possible. Small things which make a big difference like using an eye pencil over your eyebrows to define then just that extra bit.... Doing my hair in a slightly messy twirl with a few flowers thrown in for the glam effect for the perfect retro look for a stage performance. I could go on... Nivriti is simply a magician who can turn you into a Diva with her brush.. Her skills in makeup is just unbelievable and cant trust on anyone's makeup now but her. She makes you look stunning yet natural. After getting makeup done from her number of times I became so particular about perfect makeup that no one else could do that for me when she was not available. Then I thought I should learn some makeup tips from the master!! So I did her makeup workshop. And it was such a different experience. From how to hold the brush to different kinds of looks , she taught me everything in great detail. The best part was she frst did the makeup herself on the half of the face and asked me to do it myself on half of it. And believe you me She made wearing makeup like a child's play. And on top of this, she also came with me to help me buy the right makeup for me as I really wanted the right products for the looks that I learnt. I think she is simply amazing. I can not recommend anyone but her for the perfect makeup.

Nivritti dressed me up for a wedding and I felt great. I actually never knew that I can even put makeup and look and feel great at this age. My wedding photographer referred me to Nivritti after I told him I don't have time to go to India and try MUAs. I had a chat with her on gtalk about what look I'm rooting for and how my skin is. Met her a couple of days before the big day... not for a trial coz he her confidence was a big assurance for me. We spoke of colors and hairdo. On the day of my wedding, she & the hair dresser were on time despite the distance and traffic in Mumbai. Niv understood my love for dusky complexion and my mom's & relatives' request to not make me look dark. She made me glow though she said it was more natural than her doing. She advised the hair dresser how to do my hair; where in I could take off my tiara during the reception for a change of attire without hampering my hairdo. I loved my eyes... mind you I've an accident scar and all I could see for the first time was a diva (coz I'm not very girly). She helped me with my gown and managed all this with no sweat and no ac. There's nothing I'd change with how she made me look. The biggest favor she did for me without me asking was to do my bridesmaids hair and makeup after the lady my cousin referred made my beautiful girls look horrendous. All that Nivritti said was, "That worry doesn't suit the day or your your gorgeous face. Go get your pictures taken and the girls will be ready before you know it. " She eased the day for me. Not only did Niv do an exemplary job; she exceeded my expectations. My makeup or the bridesmaids makeup didn't fade or falter. I changed my clothes and no touch-up was required even after all the kissing and dancing. It stayed perfect for over 12 hours. Thank you Niv.

Hi this is neetu ..Few years back when I met nivritti I would always be iimpressed by her hair and make up and clothes..later when I discovered dat making people look pretty had become her proffession I got super excited..She did my makeup and hair for a celebrity party..guys I can't tell u how many compliments I received ..I never had looked so good..After which I never miss an oppurtunity to get dressed by nivritti..I have taken learng makeup sessions from her ...she is absolutely fabulous...girls if you really want to feel on could nine pls don't miss an oppurtunity to call nivritti..u wl bless me..be it wedding . When they say the bride's best friend on the big day is her MUA, trust me it's true to the last alphabet ! And for me, Nivritti was just the perfect fit. For one, she is an amazing person to work with. And for two, she makes u look beautiful effortlessly. And because she firmly believes that while the make up is essential, but it's the hair which makes or breaks the beauty of the bride, she will make sure even the hair is JUST PERFECT. I for one couldn't stop thanking for all the compliments that poured in. Lastly if you are worried your MUA will ditch you last minute, believe you me, Nivritti is not running away anywhere. Nivritti had done my make up during my sisters wedding in 2010. It was one of those surreal nights when I looked and felt like a diva. Her make up brought out my personality and made me look ravishing! It was then that I realised that Nivritti knew my face, my positives and she highlighted my features beautifully. My own engagement last week was THE DAY and once again Nivritti did a phenomenal job with my face. She added a new dimension to my personality and I felt simply awesome !!! Thanks so much!

Nivritti is amazing! She dressed up my mom,sister and me for both my wedding functions. She understood what we wanted and made us look and feel like princesses :-) I also did a workshop with her before the wedding which was very helpful and also a great way for her to understand your skin and taste.
