North Water Star team is fantastic. Our wedding happened during pandemic and we only had 3 months to plan the wedding. Luckily, NWS team was available on the dates we wanted. We wanted photographers and cinematographers who would focus on bride and groom and capture every moment into memories for lifetime and they believe in the same thought process. We had an immediate match and we finalized them. Highly professional guys to begin with. There's nothing hidden behind the talks, everything on conversation is also on paper. Loved that part. They also honoured some things that we talked about but didn't write in contract. We planned and talked about every aspect before the wedding on conference calls and we had a sync on every call. They captured beautiful pictures and moments during the wedding. Hyatt took beautiful clips of us after getting ready and he could bring out conversation from every interviewer. My wife still mentions how polite these guys were during all the photoshoots and sessions. Patiently waited when there was a delay. She was super comfortable during getting ready shoots. One aspect that is above all this is that they calmed us down with pep talks when we were highly anxious. I still remember Anjay giving me a talk about enjoying the moment right before wedding and not brooding over small things like decor or drone. He gave a similar talk to my wife when she was going to walk in the crowd for first time during Sangeet and she was nervous. This is unique and you would want photographers who act as friends during wedding as opposed to just vendors doing their jobs. Pulki is amazingly good at editing pictures. We are choosy people and he was super accomodating about all our requests with so much patience. Sanal created our wedding videos and he is a gifted and super creative person. His choice of music still amazes me. He would find versions of the commonly heard songs that you haven't heard before. Sometimes our requests to include a few things were messing up with his creativity but never the less he always listened patiently and made us happy with every edit. 🙂 I am writing this review after getting the last deliverable - our wedding album in hand and it is something that I would keep in our family for generations. This review is for Pulki and the entire NWS team from your favs - Pooja & Prasad ❤️ To anyone reading, please be assured that I’ve left this review after going through the whole journey with NWS - so it’s going to cover everything from pre- wedding, wedding and deliverables…and through everything we even experienced a pandemic! So it all started from this super long message I sent to Pulki enquiring about dates and services and a quote. As everyone else does, I had sent a request to my top 3 and to be very very honest- Pulki was the only one whose response immediately gave me confidence and comfort! He sat and read through my entire message, loved it so much that he called me immediately and we had the longest chat, at the end of which I felt I got a friend! Honestly it was the easiest and most casual conversation. I had an obsession about teasers and, believe it or not, asked pulki not 2, not 3, not 4 but SIX teasers. He, also a teaser lover apparently, immediately accommodated me and I am so grateful to him as he catered his entire deliverables to my individual request. We had a good few conversations and I got the confidence that Pulki really understood what prasad and I want, he even made a group immediately with us and it was a group chat with friends! I think we’ve had the most elaborate, well planned, memorable and enjoyable pre wedding shoot. The team of NWS consisted of a team of SIX, who flew all the way to london and we did the pre wedding shoot for days and days together! Pulki made this process so much easier, sorted the logistics so casually and really put in so much effort every single day. They scouted for amazing pictures locations, got a drone and each member of the team has their own style, own perspective which really comes out in the collection. The end of every shoot day was like friends chilling together. He made the day so simple and memorable for us - we almost forgot he was holding a video camera and recording everything. It is by far one of my favourite days spent in london. He ensured we took him to all the places that were special to me and prasad and our story. All this can be seen clearly in the pre wedding teaser and he made it look so effortless. We climbed trees, ran through fountains, rolled down hills and watched the sunset 🌅. It was AMAZING. Thanks Hyatt, you are the best! <3 After the pre wedding shoot, me and prasad were 100% sure we were in safe hands. We knew no matter what, even if things on the wedding day don’t go to plan the NWS team will come through and make the day shine!!! We had so much trust in them, honestly, we did not even ask Pulki how many photographers, videographers would be needed. The only thing we wanted to know is will we have our same pre wedding shoot team back and so we did, with more friendly faces! It felt like we picked up exactly where we left of. It’s not just with me and prasad, but the team were fabulous with both families and even the extended family. So many of the guests asked me about the team and some of them even felt like they were part of our friends group from London rather than a team we hired to shoot our wedding!! The team ensured they had whatever they needed, and if there was something that wasn’t there, they knew who to contact - they basically did not bother me and prasad with any questions or logistics and just let us enjoy the day. The evening karaoke and sangeet sessions was like a party with the team and we even have pictures of the team dancing with the guests and enjoying the night after working so hard!! As far as the deliverables go - needless to say, what is promised is delivered!!!!! To put it in a simple way - they captured the essence and soul of our story and showed it in the teasers, the film and the pictures. Our editor, Rahul, knew exactly what We wanted after just a few conversations and produced a blockbuster!!!!! I saw the movie repeatedly with everyone and every single time, it was a rollercoaster of emotions. The best part being he ensured not to put emphasis in it being only emotional but also light hearted and felt like each scene matched the beat of the music. Everyone loved it and said it took them right back to the wedding day and felt they were in the celebration again. Just a special mention here, all the above was done despite it been peak of the pandemic and the team had faced some losses and sad stories and yet were so professional about the job. Yes they took longer to give the film but that was understandable considering that the whole world was going through a life changing phase! It was worth the wait!!! Pulki ensured he gave me everything I asked for - there were almost 2000 pictures, 6 teasers, one short film and one long film which was almost one hour long!!! He even was kind enough to give me all the raw footage of the wedding just because I asked!!! Best part is - all content is passed by us first for any opinions on changes and then finalised. This made me feel that the team respects us, and while they obviously know so much more as this is their area of expertise, they are still so humble and so open minded to come and take our opinion on the same! Loved this about them! Overall, the biggest question I would ask myself now is: if I could rewind and do all of this again, would I pick NWS again. And my answer is YES, because through this journey they became our friends, they became part of our family and it felt like they were also hosting the event rather than just hired to provide a service during it. I feel this is what capturing memories is all about and the team have been absolute superstars! My heart, my doors are always open to them. Before starting this post, i wanna say that this is not just a feedback or a testimonial, This is a very personal heartfelt, sincere and a warm thanks to the most amazing team of ppl who simply create magic out of your moments without you even realising it. Not even for a single moment in our journey together from pre wedding in Andamans to Wedding in Delhi and finally the post wedding shoot in South Africa, did we feel as if we were actually shooting for a camera. Such comfort level, natural and completely random shoots and the air of friendliness and warmth they create around you that you will never realise your love story has been captured naturally and made into such a beautiful movie and pictures which are truly class apart. Few instances i would specifically like to mention from our experience here : 1. Our first ever interaction for our project and you end up talking for straight 45 mins without even realising it( never seen this happen as i spoke to tens of firms before) . That’s the kind of connection we developed with Pulki (Pulkeshin Tiwary - the owner). He made us realise how important it is to choose the right team for the most memorable occasion and the kind of connection you ought to have together. 2. This is not just a team of most talented and skilled photographers and cinematographers, this is a crazy group of super passionate, dedicated, professional and creative ppl who are madly in love with their work. We were surprised to see the extent to which they go in terms of choosing the perfect lighting, location, colours, dresses , poses, angles ,music ,story, flow and god knows what all to get the perfect shots. They never worked till we were satisfied, they always worked till the were convinced that they got perfect shots ( n screwed us many times for that 😜) 3. For our post wedding shoot, the entire team took an 11 hour long flight from Phuket to Capetown immediately after finishing an exhaustive 3 day wedding shoot because of our time constraint, reached the shooting location directly from the airport and straight away started just to capture the perfect light on top of Table mountain with their heavy accessory bags on. (Salute you guys) 4. They specially reached a day earlier in Port Blair and did the location research for an entire day just to find the perfect locations with natural lights for our movie. 5. Specially created an artificial location in the park outside my home to capture the groom shots in perfect natural light for the wedding movie. Such was the experience of working together, that in North Water Star, we found some friends for life. The biggest and the most special thanks to one of the most amazing man Pulki, the main lead behind the camera , director and sootradhaar of our movies and most importantly, a very dear friend. Why are you and your team are not picking our call it?s been 2 years that we are trying, at least complete your job according to the money you have taken, people please be careful about choosing this company they may tell you so many things but it?s true, I had a very bad and poor experience with people and my I have no video of my marriage which was most important to me please be careful because marriage happens only once and you will not get it back

This will be my next best 10 min of my life while writing this testimony, sharing every bit of my experience from wedding in India to shoot in New Zealand. First I would like to say that, these guys are crazy and to which extent they go and make things happen for a couple. These lads walked and climbed Mount cook (8-9 hours) for us carrying 70-80 kgs of luggage to capture unrealistic shots and shoot I and my wife in freezing cold to make our movie unbelievable. Working from 40 degree in India to -3 degree in New Zealand, never seen anyone put so much effort in to movie making. Working around Pulkeshin (producer/owner) was such a pleasure and I and my wife made them friends for life! I'm so glad that I selected North Water star. My video has come out even better than the one that had made me fallen in love with their work when I had to select my wedding photographers. The team became like a part of our love story. They would do each and every possible thing to make it happen. They're very hardworking and creative. North Water Star has been the official photographer for several Floh events - one of which is our very popular sailing event in Mumbai. What sets them apart from other photographers is how well they frame the subjects. We have some stunning candids of the sailing event and every subject captured has been more than happy to have been. I've always been shy in front of the camera. This has somehow, been coupled with an incessant urge to get a portfolio shoot. Rahul from Northwaterstar came highly recommended and I decided to give the portfolio shoot a chance. A long awaited dream was finally happening. So, I know Pulki from work, and always loved the fact that he was so passionate about anything he did. He first helped me with the engagement pictures last year, when I truly realised what magic he can create. The pictures made me fall in love with Ankush all over again. You never really get to see your relationship from a third perspective, and Pulki did that for me. He showed me how perfect Ankush and I are together, how people see us in love and how it reflects in any little thing we do. Hence, there was never a doubt about who was capturing the wedding. In all the hustle and bustle at the wedding, I missed out on some really fun talked-about moments, having been busy with the ceremonies.
