The worst decision of my life was trusting her. My makeup got oxidised in an hour. Lashes came out in 3 hours. The draping was done incorrectly. I had to open and do it on my own. The bun had no extensions and no flowers were there. On the top of that she was so rude to me and my friend. I had mathapati in my accessories and she didn’t use it and rather removed the locks and made it in mangtikka. I wish i would have never gone for her sugar coated words while booking. I booked parul for a wedding in april by giving 25k advance. However due to national emergency we had to cancel the event and had to plan wedding in private. The government wont allow any gatherings in coming times and we also do not want to conduct any public event because people are very scared. I told her the situation to which she replied we have no refund policy and policy is same for everyone. She is in her own world making her own policies without knowing how serious the situation is in world right now. I told her that, had i cancelled the event for my personal reasons then she had the right to cancel my advance and this is no way to do business. She told me i am working for many years, you dont tell me how to do business. All other vendors for wedding has returned even a single buck as this situation is unprecedented. I have understood the point that she needs our money for free to survive in this lockdown. Please guys donate her your money more than covide fund. Also i will be giving her legal notice, first thing after lockdown and hope that judiciary will make her understand the situation. Alnd i am adding this review everywhere so that more people should know the reality.

Worst experience ever. I got my wedding makeup from her which is possibly the worst makeup that I’ve ever got done from a professional who charged me a bomb, kept giving me excuses when I asked her to give me a trial, very inactive in replying to my WhatsApp messages and finally on my wedding day, when I told her I wanted my eyes to be in a particular way, said she knows what would look good on my face. I was highly disappointed by her services and her attitude. Please don’t fall for her fancy studio, the services she provides are definitely not worth it. My makeup was cakey and looked pathetic after 2 hours. I spent 30k on getting this which could have been utilised well on something else. Please don’t go for a makeup artist that assures you she knows what would look good on you when you know your skin better than anyone else! THIS IS MY RESPONSE TO YOUR REPLY : I wanted to write this review long back soon after I got married coz not only was I disappointed with your shoddy service but you also managed to ruin my face on the most important day of my life. I have enough pictures to prove the same. It was my special day and I was so overwhelmed by it that I actually needed mental and emotional bandwidth to write this and I’m so glad I finally did. Not to mention, the endless phone calls and messages that you stalled everytime I asked you for a trial. You barely let me speak a word in your studio and I know exactly how I felt sitting their getting the makeup done. It’s not okay to treat your clients like that and I hope you realise it. And I hope anyone who’s ever looking to get makeup done from you knows what they’re really getting into. Please be a better person, before you can be a makeup artist. Having a studio in sec 10 doesn’t give you the right to treat people like nothing. I had an absolutely awful experience here. I communicated with Parul over WhatsApp asking about her services but got very little to no response. I dropped by her studio in person to learn more. Instead of providing a brochure or giving me any other information, she asked me to move to the studio chair and started applying some makeup on my face. Following this, she asked me to pay Rs. 4000/- for this “makeup trial session”. I did not sign up for this neither did she inform me about what she was doing or how much it costed. At bringing this to her attention, she was absolutely rude and extremely offensive both in person and over text. I lost both time and money in my association with her. Nobody from a respectable family in Chandigarh should sign up to deal with Parul. After this, Parul Also stalked me on Instagram and made personal remarks over DM.

Parul is an absolute professional with her work. She did my engagement and wedding makeup and without a doubt both of them made me look super natural and gorgeous. The lady is rude and extremely arrogant. I called and asked if she will be available for my wedding makeup on the day of my wedding which she agreed to and told me she will be available to meet after 4-5 days. When I did call, first she laughed off when i told her i had spoken to her earlier saying "hahahah i dont remember" and then told me to meet her in sector 10 (very vague location as to somebody's whereabouts). She kept repeating to me that I should meet her up in sector 10 the next day . Ignoring this inappropriate behaviour I went to chandigarh the next day and called her up. She told me she wasn't available to meet(around 11 am) and that she could only meet me up at 4 pm( this she could have told me a day earlier when I asked her when and where i could meet her ). This time I asked her specifically where I need to come and she thankfully told me her house number which she did in a haste, not very clearly and cut the phone. Meanwhile I had another query as soon as she put the phone down, to make sure whether she will be available for my wedding date which I hadn't confirmed with her on this second call. Also I did not register her house number properly. She did not pick up my phone call and did not have the courtesy to call me back. My fianc called her up again in the evening that day and very enthusiastically told her that we both wanted to meet her up and book her. She firstly told my fiance very rudely to get off the conference call as she cannot hear him ( no could you, no please, NO ETIQUETTES; just YOU NEED TO GET OFF ThE CONFERENCE CALL) and then very arrogantly said" I told neeti to come at 4, but she did not turn up". She wouldn't listen that I called her up again and not getting any response i was clueless if she would be available for my makeup on my wedding date.( She could here have just said i was busy or maybe i missed your call and that would have saved me the embarassment. Instead she took this time and opportunity to discipline me in front of my fiance). Also I wanted to know her house number which was ofcourse necessary in order for me to meet her. Anyway, my fianc intervened asking her if we could meet her the next day. She said she is leaving town again. He asked her if she could call me back when she is free as she is ofcourse busy whenever we call her (happened thrice already). she laughed this off and it was indeed arrogant on part of a service provider; she declined stating that she hardly remembers anything and forgets things easily and we will have to call her up if we want her services. Throughout the conversation it felt like I had called someone up for a big favour and they were doing some kind of charity by providing me a service, in case they had time. I want to add that the reason why people like her have the odesity to have such airs when speaking to customers is because we as customers during our wedding functions put these service providers up on a pedestal. For us it is the most important day of our life and in wanting the best we splurge huge amount of money on these services. We also give them more respect than what they give us back. I am an oral surgeon by profession and would never treat my patients this way. I give them as much respect as they give me. This was heart breaking indeed. Service providers need customers as much as we need them.
