A strong word of CAUTION: Do Not Engage this Photographer for any of your functions. What comes next will be an absolute spoiler for you to go through the painful journey of not picking calls, no delivery, learning that each and every thing is sub contracted and nothing is done as per agreed terms except taking Money from you with all the humbleness (well that's the business and Modus Operandi) Google is deceptive and the positive reviews are paid for the most. 1. Asad Ansari/ Photosynthesis is a home run shop and the guy is working using paid positive reviews. Don't waste your money or I would say your lifetime memories. 2. Asad is rude egoistic and doesn't believe in delivering once he has taken the payment. Make you a note while I am writing this in November, 2022, the first payment was made in August, 2021. 3. He has never delivered the complete videos. The person does not respond to calls for days/weeks/months altogether once he has taken the payment. I had to constantly chase his sub-contracted staff who are already disgruntled and speak ill of him for not even clearing their dues. 4. In hindsight, it was a terrible mistake of due diligence and to trust these fake online reviews. Secondly, 100% payments were made by Last November, 2021. This gave us no leverage but to SUFFER and WAIT and get shitty incomplete work. 5. Despite waiting out and constantly reminding, the person was never available. Our experience with Photosynthesis can be broken down into two periods: pre-wedding and post-wedding. Pre-wedding: the shoot was great, the staff were polite and were on-time for all functions. Some of their ideas for shoot were traditional - contrary to what we asked. But we let it fly because it wasn't cumbersome. Post-wedding: This is where the horror show began and continues. The first version of edits was shared nearly three months after and looked so miserably shoddy that it may well have been a college project than the work of a seasoned-professional. After discussion, revisions were promised. In the interim we have been offered numerous excuses for the delay. It has varied from computer crash, raw footage being lost, busy wedding period, illness. As things stand, nine months after the wedding, we are yet to get the complete video edit, photo albums are not delivered and the owner (Mr. Asad) is mostly non-responsive. The 1.5 rating is purely for the pre-wedding part of the job but then again what good is that without getting the final product? Would strongly recommend against hiring them despite what Mr Asad promises and how professional he may come across.

Different from so many others who provide the same mundane coverage. Package cost was very reasonable and matched our expectations/ budget we set aside for photography. I had a very bad experience with service from Photosynthesis Photography Services. Owner (Mr Asad Ansari) is greedy person who will be asking for all the money in advance and in cash. Worst of all he does lot of tantrums specifically on day of occasion. His common excuses are : data got wiped off, software is not working fine, if you want better, you have to pay more and most common is I am very busy and short of staff. Dude if you cannot handle it, don't take assignments. One specific thing I want to highlight is that he is a liar and unethical to his commitments. That single quality of a person worsens the situation. He will promise you ur dream wedding but will turn your photographs into your worst nightmare. All you have to do is cat chasing the mouse game for your photographs after the wedding because "ASAD Sir" is very busy. He portrays like he is top notch photographer of area and will come only to assist not to click. Quality of good photographer is his work not his self proclaimed image. All I would suggest to fellow members is look out for this cheat and don't spoil ur lifetime memories with this careless soul.

This guys has ruined my wedding pictures. It baffles me how he lost most of my pictures, when there was more than one photographer we had hired out. My wedding was taken place abroad I have hardly anything to show my friends and family back home. I asked them kindly to change my songs on one of the video. He completely ruined that too. The experience was so bad that we were really worried about wedding photography. Frankly, you were among the last ones we had shortlisted. Asad LOST wedding function’s Video.. like seriously he lost it! I don’t have a video of my Sangeet function. IT IS SO UNPROFFESIONAL on his side. And when I emailed him to give my money back he did not even give my money back. 2 lakh rupees.. and what I got.. fraud! No Sangeet video! Like it was supposed to be the memory of my life time. And when I complaint about it.. he blocked me on his Facebook page.. horrible experience, and ZERO proffesionalism. And ZERO regret! He delayed it for a year and kept lying saying he is editing something in my videos. On my first aniversary he told me that he lost the video.

Kudos Team Photosynthesis! There are so many photographers available and everyone claims to be the best. For us, it was a matter of choice. We were looking for someone who has experience. Among the last few shortlisted Asad came out to be the best. What we liked about him was his honest approach towards his work. He was very straight in giving us answers which sometimes were not what we expected. His quotation was reasonably priced. Unlike many who hire a team depending upon projects, his team is a regular bunch of guys who have been with him for a few years and it was always the same guys during the whole wedding (it was a total of 4 days of events at City Park Green, New Delhi). Upon casual discussion, some of his team members revealed that he has trained them personally. Regarding the output, their photography is top-notch and the wedding film and other videos are great too. Their approach towards work is highly professional and they are punctual and dedicated. I called Asad, who is the head of Photosynthesis team, to setup some time to meet and discuss my requirements. We hired Photosynthesis with Photography + Cinematography to cover our Engagement, Mehendi, and Wedding ceremonies, of both the groom side and bride side. It has been more than 1.5 years since our wedding and we have not yet received all the promised material. It has been very difficult to communicate with Mr. Asad Javed Ansari. Except the two weeks when Asad was finalizing photo books, he has been largely unresponsive, replying generally after multiple follow ups. The initial contract stated that photo books + all the videos will be delivered in about 12-16 weeks time. However, it has been over an year and we still haven’t received all the material. We have been particularly proactive in contacting Asad, and contacted him on an average three times a month requesting an update. He either cited health or technical concerns for the delay, or ignored our emails and calls. My last interaction with Mr. Asad was as recent as one week back when he promised that he will pay attention to our repeated requests for edits of wedding film. However, this empty promise has been stretching for last six months and thus we felt we should share our experience with everyone. We are especially disappointed with the wedding film which was just a stitched together video of our wedding highlights and engagement highlights, with a few additional clips. We contacted Asad 9 months back and detailed him exactly what we wanted to be changed. Over the phone, he agreed to work on the video but sent back the EXACT same video three more times claiming the video has been modified. We have repeatedly requested him to work on the wedding film but all our efforts have been fruitless. We both live in the US and still complied with Asad’s demand of sending thumb drives, arranging pick up of hard drives etc very timely to make sure that we get the wedding film. However, all the effort has been in vain. We should note that the major cost breakdown of the coverage is for cinematography, and at the end, we feel deceived since the photosynthesis team spent very little effort in processing the videos. Throughout the last year, we dealt with Asad professionally and agreed to put a down payment of 50% before the functions + 30% after all the events. Therefore, we paid up 80% of the total cost almost immediately. We also complied with everything Asad asked for during the events. We had very clearly specified our requirements for the video during the initial discussion. We also patiently followed up with him for 1.5 years. We kept hoping that we will probably get some positive response and maybe we will get the video we had always wanted. However, our requests and demands were clearly overlooked, and at the end we did not receive the anticipated material. Wedding and engagement photographs and videos stay with you for life. We had hoped to receive a polished and nice video that we will be able to cherish for lifetime. However, it has been over an year and we are exhausted trying to deal with the team. We are disappointed with the unprofessional dealing of the company, and WE DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE to hire Photosynthesis.

Was looking for a professional for my cousin's wedding. Hired team Photosynthesis after much deliberation and sifting through an endless list of photographers. It was a huge task just to create a short-list. We wanted a photographer who could really understand what we want rather than do their own thing. Asad lent a patient ear to all our requirements and was always on the top with more ideas filling in the gaps. His team comes loaded with ideas and its amazing every time we all look at the photo books he designed and delivered. His experience shows in his photographs and their wedding films are truly an experience. We wish you the best.

Attention to every detail even at household functions. My mehendi was at home. Asad changed our living room into a small movie set. Placing flower pots, bouquets, our photo frames in places where they could enhance the background and the outcome was just amazing. His wedding movies are subtle and can easily touch anyone's heart.
