The wedding was many years ago. I opened my sister's wedding photos link today and again the photos take my breath away. Everything is so beautiful and colourful and perfect. Pooja did a great job. I ran into her a year ago, and she still remembers me, a bride's sister. I was always quite sure of my vendors - or what I really wanted for my wedding. Right from my wedding decor designer to my favourite photographer, Pooja Joseph. Pooja was a wonderful choice because both me and my husband don't like to pose for pictures and she is amazing at what she does, that is candid photography.

Pooja can be seen as a one woman army who does everything from the sales dept to the delivery dept and to that a salute from us. We (Me and Jisna) have seen her work much before we started dating actually and when we got married, we knew she was the one to hire for us.

I can't thank my friend enough for recommending her name among the dozens whose work I had reviewed prior to my wedding. Because hiring a great photographer was priority #1 for me. And I pride myself for making the right decision by picking Pooja. While conventional wedding photographers are full of boring and cliche ideas, on the other hand, candid ones, sometimes go to such weird extremes to stand apart in the rat race that they end up taking absurd pictures and framing things very unaesthetically. In this scenario, Pooja strikes the perfect balance with covering all the important details in the most visually appealing manner. Another great thing about her, is that she's very cordial and easy to work with. There was a big team of photographers from the groom's side as well, but Pooja's understanding approach made it easy for both the teams to work harmoniously. She also gave me great tips regarding mandap design and lighting to achieve the best photography results for a night wedding. My candid shoot with her is still pending, since i didn't have the time to take it up pre-wedding. So I am eagerly looking forward to that. Her work on Insta and Facebook speaks volumes. So once you've gone through that, you'd hardly have a doubt in your mind regarding her expertise on the matter. As far as the monetary aspect of it is concerned. considering the fact that she readily travels anywhere for the wedding and is absolutely alert and smiling through the ceremonies, and eagerly clicks away the most breathtaking pictures, no matter the time of the day or night, I'd say every penny she charges is absolutely worth it.

We got married in April,2014. Pooja was recommended by a cousin. Having already searched through a lot of photographers online, we instantly liked her work on her pages. Once you get through her,the rest of the process was seamless. She is unassuming and maybe even shy but her work is outstanding. She obviously has an eye for detail and impeccable timing. Even more than the shots taken,her editing work was fabulous. The mix of shades she used was vibrant yet subtle and really made every pic stand out. She is very passionate to her craft and you feel at ease with her calm demeanor. During the wedding , some of the functions went on till probably past midnight but she was around smiling silently looking for little moments here and there. Looking back,for the rate she charged,it was an absolute steal. The only issue is she takes so many awesome pics that its difficult to pick among them to share with others :D. Post my wedding,she covered a couple of my friends' weddings too with similar top notch results.. Her work is classy without being too flashy! Book her much in advance cos am sure she is filled with offers now :D.

I clearly remember trying to contact Pooja exactly 3 years back . I was really hoping she would pick up my call and say yes to cover the wedding. We are glad it worked out , because even today when people visit us and see our favorite pictures hung from the wedding they say how amazing they are . Few of those frames wouldn't have been possible without Pooja. Not to mention the number of friends and unknown people who asked us about her Photography and to contact her. Apart from her photography what i did like to mention is how she was so friendly while i was getting dressed up and did suggest how something wasn't looking right , so would make that correction so that it looked natural . Also to mention the post wedding Photography : She took an effort to find this unique location which was a rundown railway station. Though at first i clutched about the idea , i am still in love with how things turned out. She has a great eye for details and each picture is a keeper !

When my husband and I decided to get married, finding a good photographer to cover the wedding was top of our to-do list. Three years back, I came across Pooja Joseph Photography's facebook page and fell in love with her photographs. Then two years back my (then) fiancee, Ritwik, and I started planning our wedding and Pooja was an obvious choice. During the planning of our wedding, there were so many decisions to be made but having Pooja shoot our wedding was by far one of the best ones we made.
